My girlfriend and I ran out of Gun Oil Silicone lube unexpectedly and used some mineral oil instead. I have a bottle sitting next to a big cutboard I made that I use on it religiously.

It's marketed as a laxative we figured it's safe for use as a lube.

 

olive oil, baby oil,... Spit works best.. its most like the natural lube created by the vagina... HOWEVER if you are doing anal... wait and go by some silicone lube.. BUT keep in mind.... silicone lube will break down a condom.. so if you are using condoms.. us waterbased lube.

 

I'm just adding in a humorous review I found on Amazon when I was restocking my silicone lube once:
