  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

I do care about what VictorBlack says and thinks.

I am confident that intelligent conservatives would find you to be an embarrassing parody of what they believe in.

Your such a fucking idiot its amazing.
It's so easy to comment on these things when you do absolutely zero research on the subject to begin with.
Did you even look to compare how many presidents mentioned God in their Thanksgiving addresses over the years? Look up how many times Regan, Bush Senior, Clinton, and Bush did it during their addresses.
While your at it maybe you should look up Obama's letter to the nation which does mention God and being thankful to him.
You are commenting on Obama's youtube video for thanksgiving, and if were taking everything on youtube to heart then every fucking cat i meet can play a piano.
Go fuck yourself you ignorant piece of shit.
Is Obama the greatest president? no. But at least know what the fuck your talking about before you open your stupid fucking mouth.

Real US unemployment rate at 16 pct: Fed official
    Aug 26 01:25 PM US/Eastern

The real US unemployment rate is 16 percent if persons who have dropped out of the labor pool and those working less than they would like are counted, a Federal Reserve official said Wednesday. "If one considers the people who would like a job but have stopped looking -- so-called discouraged workers -- and those who are working fewer hours than they want, the unemployment rate would move from the official 9.4 percent to 16 percent, said Atlanta Fed chief Dennis Lockhart.

He underscored that he was expressing his own views, which did "do not necessarily reflect those of my colleagues on the Federal Open Market Committee," the policy-setting body of the central bank.
Lockhart pointed out in a speech to a chamber of commerce in Chattanooga, Tennessee that those two categories of people are not taken into account in the Labor Department's monthly report on the unemployment rate. The official July jobless rate was 9.4 percent.
Lockhart, who heads the Atlanta, Georgia, division of the Fed, is the first central bank official to acknowledge the depth of unemployment amid the worst US recession since the Great Depression.
Lockhart said the US economy was improving but "still fragile," and the beginning stages of a sluggish recovery were underway.
"My forecast for a slow recovery implies a protracted period of high unemployment," he said, adding that it would be difficult to stimulate jobs through additional public spending.
"Further fiscal stimulus has been mentioned, but the full effects of the first stimulus package are not yet clear, and the concern over adding to the federal deficit and the resulting national debt is warranted," he said.
President Barack Obama's administration has resisted calls for more public spending, arguing that the 787-billion-dollar stimulus passed in February needs time to work its way through the economy.
Lockhart noted that construction and manufacturing had been particularly hard hit in the recession that began in December 2007 and predicted some jobs were gone for good.
Prior to the recession, he said, construction and manufacturing combined accounted for slightly more than 15 percent of employment. But during the recession, their job losses made up more than 40 percent of all US job losses.
"In my view, it is unlikely that we will see a return of jobs lost in certain sectors, such as manufacturing," he said.
"In a similar vein, the recession has been so deep in construction that a reallocation of workers is likely to happen -- even if not permanent."
Payroll employment has fallen by 6.7 million since the recession began.

You mean to tell me that the conservative/Republican/Tea Baggers in congress are looking at a "real" unemployment rate of 16% and still refuse to do anything to help create jobs.

I bet that costs them the House of Representatives in the next election.:)

Haven't you heard? Tax cuts for the rich lead to jobs for the unemployed. Surely you remember the dreadful consequences of what happened when President Clinton raised the top tax rate. Then George W. Bush cut taxes for the job creators, and the American economy took off like a rocket.

If you disagree, look at this article that appeared in The Wall Street Journal. Compare job creation under Clinton and Bush.

Well, from the looks of things, they (the Republicans) are doing the same as Obama when it comes to creating jobs, which is nothing.

Same goes for reducing the dept.

They are all a bunch of clowns that need to be voted out...

This is happening despite Republican efforts to keep unemployment high.

Indeed. Although I have recently changed my beliefs and viewpoint based on my own personal experiences, and I now find myself much more closely identifying with the Left, in my life I have known a great many intelligent conservatives who behave with dignity and poise.

And they despise the behavior you have shown in this forum, natureboy... Is that why you are here, rather than playing poker or golf with them? Did they tell you that you're not allowed to sit at the Big Boy table anymore?

Indeed... Although I have to say I do believe that if we allow the rich to keep their tax cuts, they will create more jobs.

(But of course, they will continue to create those jobs in other countries as they have been for quite some time now... None of these silly Obama plans about hiring more teachers and construction workers and police and firefighters and similar middle class jobs that cannot be exported)

One of my favorite political philosophers is Edmund Burke. He is considered to be the father of modern Anglo-American conservatism, although the right ring nut cases here have never heard of him. They would have trouble understanding him too. He uses too many big words.

Anyway, what I gain from my study of Burke is pessimism about human nature and human potential, respect for the past, and skepticism of untried economic and social experiments. To the extent that I am a Burkian conservative, however, mine is a conservatism that is without affection for capitalism, rich people, or the United States.

Those with lightly endowed minds, like CS natureboy, do not understand that. What passes for conservatism in the United States is an intellectually meager set of attitudes and prejudices. The Republican Party combines reactionaries who want to restore laissez faire capitalism with economic radicals whose plans, like Herman Cain's 9 - 9 - 9 tax policy, promise to create robust economic growth, but will only make the rich richer at the expense of everyone else.

Because I am pessimistic about human potential I believe in the critical importance of genetic differences between individuals, and average differences between races. That is why I am flamed by some on the left here. They know I am right, however. That is why they get angry at me. People do not get angry when opinions they are confident about are questioned.

I will agree with the leftist flamers that Charles Murray is mistaken as soon as someone develops a way of significantly increasing a person's IQ, and as soon as blacks begin to perform and behave on the average as well as whites. I believe they will eventually, but it will take at least another thousand years of evolution. By then the races will have merged, so it will be moot. Blacks have quite a lot more genetic diversity than whites, so they can evolve faster.

LOL, fuck off sock, you have the personality and maturity level of an 8 year old. You and DL should get along just fine.

It's really amazing just how stupid people like you are. You have just joined this forum, and you have already align yourself with an anti-American bigot pedophile. It speaks volumes about your character and intelligent's, or lack there of.

No one pays any attention to DL, we all laugh at him while he show cases his stupidity. He is a loser and you obviously are too!

I pay you an undeserved honor by responding to your posts. You never contribute any interesting facts or original insights. All you do is copy and paste arguments that appeal to you and which you find on the internet, and insults. Even your insults are poorly composed, and revelations of an inferior and lightly stocked mind.
