What Republicans are trying to do, simply, is to nullify a law that passed by both houses of Congress and was signed by the president. They didn't like it, they couldn't defeat it legitimately, so they'll try to defeat it illegitimately. And they're scared of Cordray because he just might try to make the law work.

Let the Republican Party try to explain why they're so determined to let Wall Street do whatever it wants. That's a fight I'm sure Obama will relish.

 

I've been telling you baby I think President Obama ran the rope a dope on congress when they recessed several months ago and he launched his American Jobs Act and has let them just wear themselves out swinging wildly at him on every little and big thing until they've exhausted themselves and then just pummels them with his presidential powers.

So now Obama has Cordray, which is supposed to be known for not only going after corrupt corporations but also the executives who run them and Elizabeth Warren running ahead of Scott Brown while Brown praises Obama and sounds more like Warren everyday.

Its a good day in politics if you ask me.
