Here they are -- nineteen stories for your pleasure. The theme for this challenge was "gifts." As was stated originally, these didn't have to be holiday gifts. They didn't have to be things you bought and gift-wrapped. The idea was to leave the theme broad, and as a result, we have a collection of stories to appeal to a wide range of tastes. It's all here: thought-provoking stories, uplifting romance, erotica, and some very interesting sex.

Don't just go to your favorite writer and vote for him or her, and don't ignore writers you haven't seen before. Read all the stories before you vote, please. There are some excellent ones.

I agree to some extent. I don't have to know why a specific story earned a vote and am glad that we have readers who participate.

What I would like to know is why when the link to the Sex Stories Site is here, that some of the registered users do not bother to vote - positive or negative? Or, if they are only reading the story that appears here in the forum, why aren't they leaving a comment showing that they read your story? Some kind of acknowledgment would be nice.

Not being silly here even if i may sound like it but - would it be best to comment both in forum and stories sight? is that what you are saying. I know sometimes i comment as anonymous, is that no good?

 

In my case, I cannot allow comments on the Sex Stories Site. For the same reasons, I cannot comment on that site. I will comment here or send a pm. It's interesting that some members will vote on this poll, but not cast a vote on that site, nor comment on the copy of the story posted here so that you know the story was read.

speaking for myself - i feel kind of noobish commenting on stories of experienced writers myself. I kind of think why would you all give a shit what i think. Your record speaks for itself. But i now see your point and will try and remember to comment on everything :excited:

 

I can't speak for everyone else. I get very few comments. For me, any comment is welcomed, good or bad. How else can we improve? These CAW's are challenges - we want to hear that we met that challenge and did we fulfill your expectations.

Well, last I checked Steven King and Tom Clancy and James Patterson and JK Rowling and Ann Rice aren't writing here. So I suspect that the rest of us amateur hacks would appreciate comments from pretty much everyone and anyone.

Seriously...getting opinions from a wide range of readers is always a good thing. You gain perspective, often times from an angle you didn't initially see.

You may not always LIKE what is written to you, but, 'dems the breaks.

 

I have yet to vote but only because I still have a couple of stories to read. The overall standard is very high, with three standing out from the rest, in my opinion. I was going to enter, even though I knew some of the stories I'd already read were head and shoulders above anything I could come up with. Unfortunately, I left it too late and couldn't finish my story in time. On the subject of comments, I tend to comment only if I like a story. But then, if I like a story, it seems petty to criticize some minor point - even bad spelling or punctuation. I think, as this is a sex story site, turning me on is more important than excellent writing skills. There are many writers who write well but the subject matter just doesn't do it for me, so they're unlikely to get my vote. Anyway, thanks to all those writers who entered for sharing their stories.

 

Here is a story comment, review, and critique.

I believe the writer of Young Indy Jones & the Gift of Wet Pussies went far out of his comfort zone by writing a thematic tale that did not contain incest. This was not a Christmas Gift story (and according to the rules; it didn't have to be). The story was developed with research (although sometimes corrupted) and used some real-life names for graphic context. Sex was explicit, abundant, and fit well on a sex story site. Not everyone cares to read about acts of brutality, but I believe young Indy's actions were justified.

To my fellow writers.

My story (A Heaven for Nina) says it is a CWA9 entry but apparently it is not. It was posted in the story site on time but my PM got in late due to my having problems getting a correct link from XNXX.

I'm not writing to complain. I'm here to wish everyone good luck and to ask for a favor. My main interest in posting my stories is to get feedback. If any of you have the time I would rally appreciate it if you read my story and leave me a comment.
