But have YOU documented and verifiable evidence to show that the ONLY reason the efforts failed is due to Blacks having a lower intelligence??

Because IF there are ANY other reasons behind these efforts failing, then The Bell Curve theories are disproven...

When YOU accept that there are still questions, surrounding this topic, that have to be answered..Nothing has been proven EITHER way, everything is speculation and theory with NO definitive answers...

Well as the book as been read by many learned people post publication and there consensus is that it is flawed and pseudo science then believing that it is proof is the same as using the bible as proof.

And when did you suddenly become able to talk for everybody, as I can see it you are just an old embittered man who lets is bigotry and racism run his life because he can't get a job and is still after all these years at his own personal ground zero.

I rarely if ever quote The Bell Curve as though it is authorititave. Instead I substantiate its findings with evidence of my own.

Generally speaking on a complex issue I think the consensus of the experts is more likely to be correct than mistaken. That is the reason, for example, that I believe that global warming is a serious problem, and that it is caused by the consumption of fossil fuels.

Unfortunately, after the Second World War "many Learned people" learned to lie about racial differences and the probable biological reasons for those differences. Those who did not lie have been delusional. They have somehow managed to force themselves to believe what is clearly not true.

An American Dilemma: The Negro Problem and Modern Democracy is a 1944 study of race relations authored by Swedish economist Gunnar Myrdal and funded by The Carnegie Foundation. The foundation chose Myrdal because it thought that as a non-American, he could offer a more unbiased opinion...

When An American Dilemma was published the argument was plausible. Many who have never heard of the book have assimilated its arguments without evaluating them.

Those who argued against the book at the time, and during the civil rights movement that it helped to inspire, claimed that racial discrimination did not cause black social pathology; black social pathology required racial discrimination. They said that because there is a significant difference in average intelligence between blacks and whites it would be wrong to integrate public schools in areas with large black populations. They predicted that either most blacks would be unable to keep up with the whites, or the curriculum would have to be relaxed, and whites would not receive the education they were capable of benefiting from.

The arguments of those who opposed school integration have been very largely been proven by subsequent events. The Brown v Board of Education decision by the Supreme Court in 1954 ordered the integration of public schools. At that time in Washington, DC black seniors were usually two years behind white seniors in what they had learned and in what they could do. Most whites, including as I have mentioned previously most liberal whites, took their children out of the DC public schools. While DC public schools are the third best financed public schools in the United States, test scores there are lower than for any of the fifty states.

Segregationists also argued that because blacks had very high crime rates it would be dangerous to allow them to use recreational facilities, theaters, and other facilities used by whites. Those facilities were integrated. It has been dangerous.

As I have documented on a number of occasions, including my comment #498 in this thread, black academic continues to lag far behind that of whites. Nearly two generations after the civil rights legislation was signed in the United States The Bell Curve provides a more plausible explanation for that lag than does An American Dilemma.

When the civil rights legislation was signed in the United States the black illegitimacy rate was about 20 percent. Now it is more like 70 percent. From 1960 to 1980 the black crime rate grew until America as a nation began herding young black men into prison. Now the crime rate is declining, but not because of the changes advocated by Gunnar Myrdal.

So, where is the evidence that if whites stop discriminating against blacks the blacks will behave and perform as well as whites? You tell me, richief. I am waiting.
