I view Russians as a tough group of people. Between the brutal conditions under the Czars and the purges and gulags of Stalin, I would suggest that any weak Russians were weeded out long ago. Russian contributions to literature and science are many and distinctive. A country that covers 9 time zones is nearly incomprehensible and I think Russia as a country is enigmatic.
Between its intellectual resources and its natural resources, I do not think that Russia has reached its full potential as a country yet and those who perceive the USA and China as the only superpowers in the world seriously underestimate Russia and her people.

 

Fine, I don´t like terrorists, murderers and criminals either, doesn´t mean I blame it on a whole nation or "type of people"!

My oppinion of Russia is that the place and the people are wonderful...the government on the other hand leaves alot to be desired. Much like my own government.
