anyways... about me

i have always been a straight guy for most of my life up until say... May/Jun this year

i was thinking while in bed that perhaps guys do interest me, and have since then started slowly getting into gay porn, which i do absolutely love yet ironically hated seeing any kind of anal sex a year prior...

i talked to my therapist many times and i always told her that i have never been a strong-willed guy, or very manly at all, i always get super-emotional over stuff (i'm a weeper basically). that made me think that somehow, deep inside me i had a female soul and/or heart, but since early childhood had locked it deep inside me and acted more male like to not seem like an outcast. I guess 3 years after finishing high school it started rising out of the jail and becoming more and more a part of me.

i know this isn't the best place to ask advice, but i guess i need other people's opinions on my current dilemna

So to clarify, do you feel you may be transgendered or simply attracted to transgenedered people, i.e shemales. I am not transgendered but I know quite a few people who are and as a guide they feel they have always been trapped in the wrong body so if you feel similar it maybe time to talk to a counsellor who specialises in transgerdered issues. You say you are not the most manly man and see yourself in a more feminine role..so maybe you are either coming to terms with being Gay or at the least Bi sexual..

Think it through and maybe ask some more specific questions..give us a little more information about how you feel..

 

i feel like i am trapped in the wrong body, but that feeling is more recent as i stated earlier, yes i feel like more suited in a feminine role, and i know for a fact that i am bi-curious, but haven't had an experience so to speak of.

i'm unsure of what i need to ask, as maybe the answers i've heard before will be there again

sorry if this doesn't seem to help you understanding my problem more, i really need to discuss this with my therapist and other specialists for transgendered people, but unfortunately can only do so in January after the holidays

You are not alone. I recently discovered this about myself tho I don't have as big an urge to be the female. I can keep it in check. I don't love being male and I am different from many men (I roll my eyes when I see guys trying to outcompete each other, I have never cared for rutting or that kinda shit) but I'm happy enough.

Answer this question, if everyone you know disappeared, and you were given the chance to stay as a male or try being a female, which would you choose?

First of all how old are you?

I'd be concerned if it was late in life and you had taken a solid male form. On the other hand if you're skinny and your bone structure is workable, I'd think hormonal transition would be OK.

What I wouldn't do is cut off your cock or try to have it remolded into a vagina. Your sexual anatomy is delicate and you may find restructuring your dick into something else will simply leave you unable to satisfy yourself sexually <-- that would be my fear.

Besides, there are PLENTY of men who may not be gay but can appreciate a she-male and actually prefer one. Here's the deal : if you weren't born female the odds are HIGH you aren't going to be able to compete with a real one for straight guys once your transformation is complete. The worst thing you can do is become some sort of sexual Frankenstein that isn't appealing to either gender. You need to target the guys who will be understanding about what you want to do and check out what they like.

I can tell you that at times I've fantasized about being the "woman" but in reality I know I cannot reasonably transition into one with good results at my age, and I also love having my own cock. They are all made that way. Many of the transwomen have an XXY gamete instead of an XY. Males including gays have XY; genetic born females have XX.

So there are real physical reasons why we are what we are.

I transitioned successfully at 72. There are thousands of us who had the SRS and have married men.

Not all of us like men; I am lesbian, slightly bi. The distribution by one authority is that among transfolk they are evenly divided between straight (transwoman + male); lesbian (transwoman + transwoman or female); and bi(you know what that is!)

One of my friends in New Zealand recently had: facial feminization surgery (FFS), BA breast augmentation; BS body sculpting, and GRS genital reassignment surgery. She is absolutely gorgeous. She is still married but has to get a divorce to change her gender marker in NZ. She has children and will stay with her wife after the divorce.

Fighting it

From what I have read and those people I know; if you are really trans you can never win the fight (to not transition). That girl has to come out eventually and she damn sure will. The ones who fight it go through mental agony and may suicide.

The suicide rate among transexuals is over 41%; and one of the reasons is the hate society genders toward them. The Mormon church is one of the worst offenders in hatred. Hey YOU are the abominations, not us; GOD made us this way! Honor your GOD for once!

 

I like the Hindu take on it; we all have a male and female aspect, in different proportions, and there is no right or wrong to it.

I take a biological view that everyone's DNA has ALL the genetic material necessary to make a male OR female version of you. Its just a question of which X or Y chromosome you end up with that triggers Plan A or Plan B. I also believe its possible ( call it a development error if you like ) that part of the "wrong" plan can execute for your sexual genotype, the result being a gay man or gay woman. I read about a study somewhere; they did MRI's on people's brains and discovered gay men's brains are more structurally similar to straight females than straight males. For that reason I believe there are biological causes for homosexuality. That said, there are environmental causes as well. It's complex. But I do think its STUPID how some of these churches think they can exorcise the "demon" of homosexuality.

i am feeling like its eating me on the inside, because even if i can't do the other stuff now, i have started acting more femimine, which i find comfortable to do, but trying to do that, in my hometown, where everyone knows who i am and how i was during highschool, its not easy

One woman I know (trans) who was a well known lawyer in a small Tennessee town actually had to sell her house and leave to a larger city after she transitioned and had her SRS. The church and her friends and coworkers all snubbed her.

Finding yourself is tough at any age just remember there are support groups out there and your therapist may be able to determine what comes next. Don't get tied up in labels as I'm sure it will all work out but, most trans gendered never felt right in their bodies early on. You could be a late bloomer or maybe something totally different so, get an early jump on these feelings and I'm sure you'll find your way.

I personally don't think it is worth transitioning for my own case. Losing all my friends and maybe my family (and who can blame them, for the person they knew disappears to be replaced by someone else).

I see it as a fantasy that I can never fulfil.

Traditional TG community hates the idea of autogynephilia but I believe it is true for some cases.

There are those TG who always felt like a woman, who are happy to have a penis because the important thing is that they already feel like a woman and the outside world sees them as one.

But the guys who have autogynephilia are not like this. They want the whole thing, including the vagina. They may already feel some femininity, but they want the transition to become the femininity, to truly understand what it is like to be a woman. They are not like other trans who felt like a woman 100% from birth.

Personally I think it is crazy that traditional trans community are so outraged that there is more than one type of transgender out there. Also, sometimes these types can mix, it is not binary, it can be fluid or partials.

I am so in awe of women. I don't mind my masculinity but I am not a natural driven and instinctive male. I am more like a woman in my way of thinking. But in my 30s I don't think I could achieve the look, I am mindful that I can never be a true woman because society will never view me as one. Give me a desert island and the last remaining human on earth and I would happily become a woman but that is not going to happen anytime soon!

I so wish I knew what it could be like as a woman. To be beautiful. To be penetrated. To bend human minds with your sheer beauty.
