Hey all, been wondering something here.

First off, I know that in Michigan there are no full nude clubs, to my knowledge. As well, there is no touching involved. Hell, there isn't even any booze the last I heard.

Recently, I was at a club in Florida. It was pretty much the opposite, nothing short of amazing. Probably going to be the best club I'll ever go too.

Anyway, what I want to know is, are these rules/regulations state or city wide, if anyone knows. Best bet is probably just searching though.

 

I believe it is state that makes the regulations. Here in Ok. they can take it all off if there is no alcohol sold in the establishment, other wise they can only go down to their panties. if the establishment does not sell alcohol, you usually can carry the alcohol in.

 

if you go to a full nude club here in FL they only serve soft drinks no alcohol,but u can touch and squeeze, if u go to a topless club they will serve alcohol with no touching

 

It's true that state laws, in theory at least, regulate what you can do and what you can't do...but a great deal depends on the attitude of local law enforcement. In San Francisco, for example, there are strip clubs where prostitution goes on constantly, and local authorities simply look the other way. I guess they have better things to do than try to prevent a stripper from giving a guy a blowjob behind a curtain. You can't, however, get a drink in those places. Go figure.

 

Here in Washington State they are very picky about getting drunk and then taking your clothes off in public...oh...wait...that wasnt what we were going for. Um...Strip clubs are allowed full nudity in most places although the rules change from county to county. No alcohol is served in any of them and touching is considered prostitution and is an arrestable offense. Seattle has a four foot rule...the girls cannot come within four feet of a patron under any circumstances. Where I live, tipping is done with chips that are purchased because exchanging money with a naked or partialy nude woman is considered prostitution so you have to throw poker chips at them so as not to get too close or exchange real money. The only time any of this changes is if you hire strippers for a bachelor party of something like that.

 

hmmmm....last time I was in a strip club....October 2010...Oregon serves alcohol and full nudity and you can converse with the girls....but no touching...she may touch you, but you can't touch back....another reason to love Oregon:excited::excited::excited:

There was a push once upon a time from some in Canada and the USA for British Columbia and Alberta to sucede from Canada and join a push with the 4 NW states that were trying to do the same thing in the US (Washington, Montana, Oregon and Idaho) and now I can see why.:rose:

Actually, they're not all nude -- at least not in the "public" areas of the club. In the cages, the girls wear string bikinis, and on the runway they strip to g-strings and pasties -- or less. The back rooms are a completely different story. There, the "private parties" involve blowjobs, nude lap dances, and full-on prostitution.

in my state, it all depends on the county your in. there is full nudity
of course. BUT, a county or some counties they are not aloud to
touch you. same vice versa.

Much like the gun laws in this country, it is a patch work of stupidity. Most states have the power to make laws concerning these clubs. However, local governments can usually pass stricter laws, but not less strict ones. So given the city or county, it can vary from club to club.

 

Reading all the responses in this thread makes me so glad to live where I do - the San Francisco bay area. As Kimiko remarked, the laws on the books are just about completely ignored in SF . . . at the Mitchell Brothers, you can get a fully nude public lap dance with light touching for $20, you can go behind a curtain and get a rub 'n tug or blowjob with heavy petting for a little more, or you can go to a private room and get all kinds of nasty for way too much money. Although they don't serve alcohol on the premises, nobody seems to care if you sneak it in for your private party. Babylon by the Bay, indeed!

I've been to strip clubs in Texas, Oregon, North Carolina and New York - nothing tops the titty clubs of SF.

 

As already pointed out the rules for strip clubs depends on the state. In Colorado you cannot touch the dancer and the dancer cannot touch you even in private dances. Although they do have totally nude clubs with 18 year-olds dancing in them.

In Wyoming you cannot touch the Dancers Ass, vagina or nipples but they can touch you with just about everything else.

In Utah they can't even show their nipples let alone touch you or be touched.

The one thing that is universal is that by like 95% the women on stage are professional entertainers, tend to be very intelligent, enjoy entertaining and have got an asshole at home just like you.

In other words the only place worse to go looking for a date than a strip bar is your own family reunion.

You are right. Alot of the laws are local and many states couldnt care less what the laws are. What I have seen localy regarding these sorts of things is that church groups have a huge impact on what and how the city council does to regulate strip clubs. One of the issues we have seen localy is the issue of topless drive through espresso stands. They typically arent realy topless but they might as well be since pasties dont cover much. There have been a number of these establishments that have sprung up around the area and there have been m,any attempts to shut them down launched by ...and this is where things get funny...pissed off, middle aged house wives. There are a large number of women who realy dont wnat thier husbands going to the bikini drive through to get thier morning cup of coffee and they have made thier voices heard. The usual complaint is "health codes" but the reality is that serving coffee in the nude or nearly nude isnt any worse than wearing clothes, it just looks better. The other complaint is that "maybe our children will see" which is pure bull shit becaue these places arent located near schools and usualy have privacy screens to keep them from being seen from anywhere but at the drive up window.

In short, local city councils have been reviewing the regulations but nothing has realy gained any serious traction.

On a side note, there have been a series of murders of escorts posting adds online with backpage (an online and publication classified adds company) in Detroit. This has fueled the debate regarding allowing these adds for escorts to be online, sort of the same thing that Craigs List just went through.

When you break it all down, the number of interactions that happen online on a weekly baisis is absolutly staggering. The fact that a handfull end baddly is hardly even a statistical blip on the radar much less indicative of a serious, systemic problem that requires serious examination. But now we have law enforcement and various law makers questioning if there is a reason to maybe regulate or even ban the practise and make advertising for escorts illegal.

Any comments on that?
