this might be unusual but i need help with my internet explorer 9 browser.

the browser isn't recording in the history the websites i visit and i think this is a problem sometimes, why is my internet explorer 9 doing this?

anybody know whats going on?

 

Only time I've ever used Internet Explorer 9 was to download Mozilla... And that was only because my USB drive with the installer on had gone missing. On topic though... Do you have private browsing turned on?

Even more strange is that you come onto a porn site and WANT your browser to remember your history.
Everybody else usually wants to delete their history.

i know. because those people could be the president of the united states and if the general public found out he had been surfing porn, he could get eggs in the street.

and if you put "history is not saving in IE9" into google you'll find thousands of results saying the same thing.

Quick question though, why do you use IE ? because it is honestly the worst browser going.

 

Ya ... like he said. Dude seriously 86 that fucking nuisance because it is a pain in the ass and is/has become a target for hackers to attack with viruses that mimic IE and before you know what happened you will get the shock of your life, especially on a porn site ... or any porn site for that matter that has sleeper viruses waiting for people using an IE browser moreso than other browsers that are also not immune to these viruses from malicious "bible thumpers" that think they are doing gods work by wrecking your fun on porn sites.

PS ... a lot of the danger is in using IE as your default e-mail for sharing.

 

I really recommend using either Firefox or Chrome, IE is shit imo.

 

i use internet explorer because its just there included in the operating system of windows 7 along with everything else and someone actually paid for it i guess. i was using firefox until my entire other system got nuked and i really liked firefox. internet explorer has grown back on me because it crashes rarely, so much less than older versions.

Crashes rarely? Man is it internet explorer or something elae? Get google chrome or Mozilla. Even safari. About that check if you've any private browsing on. Then try putting all settings to default. Then try reinstalling the thing by backrolling the vwrsion and getting q new one. Then try a system restore to a previous date.

yeah no shit, it doesn't crash hardly ever so thats why i will probably stick with it. remember this is internet explorer 9 we are talking about here. i think you will find the browser has favourable reviews as well as the operating system. okay so i turned private browsing off so maybe that might fix it, but should i know right away or do i have to wait for about five hours or the end of the day to have the pages register?

 

If you have to turn the privacy browser off then the thing is not working. Go and download Firefox 12, it is simple to use, it will transfer all your bookmarks over from IE if you want it to and it as never crashed on me. It looks better than IE too, and if you want you can make it as pretty as you like with the "skins" it offers you. The only time I have used IE is when I bought this laptop and that was t download FF.

 

I think the problem is that this thread is 6 months old.....

 

and the OP is still not any wiser and 6 months later still has problems when he could easily resolve everything just by changing browsers.

To the original poster, I admit 9 is better but it still crashes hangs and casused all sorts of problems. Plus it's prone to being attacked by all sorts of folks. Use chrome or safari. Or even maxthon if you like.
Ps I have surrendered firefox to the numerous guest users in my college or at home.
