  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

The use of the words "authors" and "write" in the thread title amuses me.

To call the ungrammatical and plot-less crap that most here puke out on a keyboard "writing" and the ones doing it "authors" is perhaps the funniest thing I've ever heard.

Add to that the pompous arrogance of the "writers" who actually think that their crap is any good and that they're doing something actually worthwhile....

It's a fuckin' laugh riot!

Heh heh heh! You're really funny, Joe. You realize that you just insulted every author on this site. And you did it in writing. You know what that means? You just declared war on all of us, and you chose our turf as the battleground!

On one side, there are all of these talented, intelligent, and witty writers. On the other side there's this lone soldier who shoots himself in the foot every time he fires a shot.

You're right. It is a "fuckin' laugh riot."

Not really, but ti is hard to keep it fresh and different since there are only so many ways you can describe and orgasm or the act itself. However, we keep on breaking new ground trying different ways to express it. That's why we like feedback. To let us know if we hit the mark or not.

Go back and reread my post, Kemosabe. Better yet take a course in Reading Comprehension before you do so. Then you'll be able to clearly see that I didn't say "all" or "every." I said "most."

And there you go making a referance to a obviously racist television show...
It's Quimo Sabe... or for those of you who don't habla (he who knows)
Which make's JoeDirty Tonto (Stupid) fitting. So what have we learned now that JoeDirty is willing to label himself stupid... DC knows all... and Joe is a racist fascist... and Joe has never heard spanish spoken or seen the movie stand and deliver... (which I would actually recommend) nor has he ever looked up the translation for the word he's just a high tech troll who doesn't know of what he speaks.

Most is inclusive enough to piss everyone off.... It's the equivalent of saying most white people are inbred red necks... or most mexicans are wetbacks or... you know what I need not continue to fence verbally with the unarmed.

    Thanks for the psychoanalysis, asswipe.

And here I just thought that I was being sarcastic.

"Most" refers only to those to whom it applies. It implies that there's a "some" who aren't included in the "most." There are a few good writers here.... A very few....

No... A psychoanalysis would be me explain why you have an irrational fear of fictional stories... about fictional characters... Did your Imaginary friend call his imaginary friends over and gang rape you when you were a child?

No. My point is that the reader of those particular stories is jerking off to them and thus has a fetish for the content contained therein.

Hence if one likes to read...say for example...underage stories one has an underage fetish and is therefore someone who has sexual feelings toward those who are underage. In other words...One's a sick fuck...a pedo.

Okay, I apologize. You just declared war on "most" of the writers here. Care to point out the ones you're not including, so that you don't make any unintentional enemies? Otherwise, each writer will just have to assume that he/she is statistically more likely than not to be one of the ones you insulted (after all, that's what the word "most" means).

I haven't "declared war" on anybody. I've given my judgment of the quality of the writing by most of the writers here based on my years of reading various writings...both good and bad. I think that I can tell the difference between a good, well-written story and crap.

Also, I can't give you a complete list of all of the good writers here because I haven't read everything here. But I have read enough to make a fairly safe general conclusion that good writers are in the minority.

JoeDirty: Most of the writers on this site write crap.

Most of the writers on this site: Yeah, well you--

JoeDirty: Wait a minute! I wasn't trying to pick a fight! Poor little me! Everyone's against me! Boo hoo!

Exactly, don't be afraid to try something new, but one has to be careful with that or it can come off like you are a little too impressed with yourself.
My rule of thumb is if I think I've came up with a clever word, or turn of phrase I'll only use it if fits in with the flow of the narrative.

    I wanted to amend this.
If you get too into it you end up stopping to masturbate, and then you don't feel like writing any more.;-)
I laugh when I say that, but seriously, you have to be "in" the scene enough to describe it, but remain enough of the dispassionate observer not to get carried away,so to speak.:excited:

    I'm the other way...

I find it a little ironic, I'm the other way. I find it hard to write the mundane stuff, but have no troubles writing the sex parts. In fact, often when I start to write a normal story, it turns into erotica before the end of the second or third chapter (part) at the latest. Hard for me to write a normal story.

What I do is I research about how it feels, and describe that feeling in the writing, I sometimes get sidetracked with writing about sex and forget emotion.

Joe Dirty's pathetic, petty, predictable diatribe aside, here's why I hate sex scenes:

I've always wanted to be a writer, but I thought it would be a good idea to post one or two stories here and see how I fare before I attempt an actual novel, especially since English is not my first language and I don't want to write in my own language. It's very limiting in terms of setting, characters and the vocabulary is not a tenth of the size of the English vocabulary.

Sometimes when I write a smutty story, I feel like a sell-out. Is this what my big dream has boiled down to? Jerk-off material for people I've never met? I guess it's more of a moral dilemma for me than anything else, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who has ever felt like that.
But who knows? Maybe I'm wrong about that?

I love the story part of my stories: the meeting, the conversation, the flirting, the falling in love. I can't make my characters have sex without bringing love into it - probably because that's how I am about sex myself. It makes it difficult to keep the story short if the characters need to get to know each other first. So by the time I get to the first sex scene, I'm so tired of it and I just want to get it over with. It's really hard to write a good sex scene when you just want to have it over and done with, but I try to clamp down on my impatience and do my best to make it good. It actually helps a lot if the characters have feelings for each other - it broadens the scope of what you have to write about. Instead of just talking about the mechanics, you get to write about the way the mechanics make them feel.

I think many people feel, 'I have to include a sex scene, otherwise people won't like to read my story on a sex site.' Because lets be honest, sex sells. That's why there's not a lot of good write-your-own-story sites like this one outside the porn realm. at least, none that i've come across so far. And I love how much I've learnt so far too much to give up on it. If I want opinions on my writing, and to get comfortable with thinking in another language, I need to publish somewhere I know it will be read, and that sort of limits me to porn sites.

I know there are stories here that doesn't have a lot - if any - sex in them, but generally they don't rate as well or get read as often as the other. And for a writer, the whole point of the site is exposure, isn't it?

People don't want to read amateur romance or drama or regency novels on the net - but there are people who want to read sex stories and we adapt our stories for them. Sometimes I wish I could just write the story without the sex, or leave them at the bedroom door. Everybody knows what goes on inside there, and describing it sometimes feels like a violation of my characters' privacy. Which is stupid, I know.

Probably most of you will read this and think my opninion and thoughts on the matter are stupid, but I don't know. Perhaps one or two of you feel the same way. There has to be a reason why some people don't like writing sex scenes. It just sucks, because it makes a chore of writing and who wants their favourite hobby to become a chore?

Pixy, isn't it great that we have imaginations, to fill in the sex in romance scenes, or the romance in sex scenes.

    My 2 cents . . . and take it as you will since I read 8-9 posts . . . and scanned another dozen . . . so forgive me if it's been said . . .

but the "sex" in a story is ponderous because it's predictable.

    Yeah Yeah . . . they fuck . . .

    the difficulty . . . the eroticism . . . is GETTING to that point . . .

How do you move from "I like chicken nuggets" to "FUUUUUCK MEEEEE!!"

    THAT'S where the art lies . . . lays . . . lain . . . should have lain ???

My point is . . . the actual act is the finale . . . concentrate on the foreplay :)
