Agree to a point. We are human, and not robots. I think a little harmless flirting is ok. I think going out and dancing with other people is ok. I don't necessarily want to see it if my gf is doing it, but at the end of the day if she's coming home to me...whatever. However if someone finds themselves needing continuous outside attention then maybe they should question why they are in a relationship to begin with.

 

I used to have some friends who, at every party, were only dancing together once.

Afterwards, the lady was dancing and flirting real obvious with every man present there!

They have two kids and... when he was in his forties, he just got himself a brand new 24 years old wife...

As far as I know, she is still alone, and really suffering for her loss...

 

I'm sure some women can have a purely platonic friendship, but I am one of the few that if a guy qualifies to be a friend, he also could get sex or a relationship. I have never cheated however. Any sex ends when I start a relationship.
Just because I'm highly sexed and easy doesn't mean I have no self control.

 

I have many guys who are just friends I hang out with, share worries, share professional knowledge, crack jokes (dirty as well), where all of have our families/steady liveins to go back to for the physical relations. I ve never thought of sex in this group, even I m promiscuous.

That might make me a jerk, but here are the 100% accurate facts:

Girls and guys CAN be friends without it being sexual, BUT...

The more attractive the girl is, the more impossible the situation becomes (unless the guy/guys are GAY).

Guys can have the best intentions of just being friends with attractive girls, but over time, hormones kick in and they want to touch them, kiss them and wonder about fucking them. Looks on a guy mean a lot less, so if the guy is nice, a good friend and starts to come on to the girl, there is a good chance she will fold.

Not always....sorry Ump...I'm not really an eyesore....and I have a few male friends that are inundated with fem attention....I have not ever fucked them....I've never expressed the desire...nor have they ever said a damn word to me about getting naked....EVER....sometimes...it's just one of those...hey, we really have a good time, doing things we enjoy....together...without sexual tension....*shrug*....it's all in how YOU act, and think and observe, that directs the way a friendship goes....IMO....no matter if it's male/male, male/female, female/female....friendships are the most true reflection of your "self"

I've had a girlfriend that felt better around guys than she did around girls. Honestly, I do believe that a woman and a guy can be around each other and be close friends without it being sexual.

 

Sure they can. One of my female friends actually prefers guy friends because they bitch less and have less drama. Of course as a guy who is best friend to many women I think it is. Or I'm really oblivious...

 

I have have three friends who I have known for a number of years that are female. we are close but nothing has ever happened between us. Sure, we flirt and joke around sometimes, but that is all it is... joking around.

 

Its possible but difficult. Im close friends with my best friends lady and I do find her attractive but would never do anything with her behind his back. Ive had instances where I could have but didnt. Will power.

 

It is possible. My wife has a few guy friends and i have a few girl friends, without anything sexual. I have been burned by this before though, an old ex had a lot of guy friends and she was banging everyone of them behind my back. It is really all on you, do you trust her enough to know she wont make it sexual and she'll turn down any advances by her guy friends?

 

I've had plenty of female friends that was simply that a friendship and nothing more.

More over, there was no sexual attraction. I think it had something to do with the fact that I saw them more as little sisters. Call it a non-biological extended family.

 

Yes its possible; I have a lady friend who has been my best friend for 10 years now. Best friends is the best thing for us to have been, and I would not want to ruin it any other way.
