You are complaining that Jackson and Sharpton don't speak out for white victims, why should they, when was a white victim of murder ignored by the police especially if the person committing the crime was black. We keep seeing the racists throw up smokescreen cases where the crime is already solved people are doing time and the only concern is that there was not a lot of media coverage. Considering the violent death rate in the US (4.8:100,000 in 2010) I am surprised that any murder makes the headlines in the national press unless it is pretty horrific or by a serial killer ( who in the main are white male and in their 30s).

So why should two black activists speak out for people who are all ready receiving justice.

This forum might be the closest thing to friends that he has. If he's serious, then he really doesn't want to follow through. When people claim that they want or are going to commit suicide, then they are pleading for help. If they actually want to do it, they don't say anything and just do it.

Dude, you need to call someone like a family member or a help line right now. At least tell us what is bothering you. We could help you.

You might not think so, but I've seen it happen. First hand. I belonged to a dating site that had video chat rooms. One of the young men found out that the woman he had been dating from the site was using him for his military benefits. He went on cam that night and said he was going to kill himself, and a bunch of assholes (like the ones I've seen here) poked, prodded and made fun of him for saying it on cam, and kept telling him,"Well then go ahead"... no matter how much the rest of us were trying to comfort him, those were the voices he heard and we all watched while he put the gun in his mouth, powerless to do anything. So don't think that because you're online your words don't have power. Think before you say something to egg this man on. Just because you wouldn't post it here, doesn't mean he wouldn't.

 

The hard point I was trying to make is that if this stupid fucker does not know how to get help or even want to get help then quit being a pussy about it and just fucking do it....I thought about eating a bullet when I came back from the Gulf BUT I had the VA and that helped alot....hey you know....if a person is gonna do something then they are going to do it....dont want to hear the fucking crying about...go and get some help or pull the fucking trigger
