On this issue I think the great majority of media coverage has been opposed to George Zimmerman. The initial photographs that were projected everywhere were very misleading. Trayvon Martin was shown in a photograph when he was at least in his early teens. George Zimmerman was shown in a mug shot for something that he was not even charged of. Mug shots are usually unflattering.

The photo I posted of Trayvon Martin giving the finger is unsuited for a family newspaper, but I think it reveals more of what George Zimmerman confronted than photos of that innocent, smiling 14 year old.

Bullshit. Zimmerman had NO reasons for concern, other than racial stereotyping, which you would know all about. Martin had committed no crime, or done anything else to arouse suspicion, other than be born a black man. But given that he WAS suspicious, all he had to do was call 911. No, my opinion is based on information that has been made available to the public, including the original 911 call and Zimmerman's own statements. We know quite a bit about what happened. And one thing we know is that the confrontation would not have occurred had Zimmerman not ignored the police and taken matters into his own hands.
