You might want to re-read my post - I'm sure after giving a closer look, you will realize that I was criticizing those people who are doing both (and topping it off with a 3rd), not making an either/or choice.

But, I've strung you along far enough with this line of banter, here's your answer:

I think this place ought to have arbitrary control by the owners and those they appoint to manage the place. I think the same thing of any privately-run enterprise, whether it be a household, a business, or a youth soccer league.

Having said that, I truly enjoy the latitude allowed here and I don't find it any more or less "free" than the first week I signed on (6 years ago).

Shucks, now you'll have to find something else to be a whiny bitch about.
