Yes, not all rapes are the same, some are far more traumatic than others. But all rapes are wrong and cause a great deal of hurt to the victim.

Some mentally strong people will be able to deal with the consequences better than others. But the point is that nobody deserves to be put in that position of having to come to terms with what happened to them.

Any suggestion that there are conditions in which rape is acceptable or will not cause harm to the victim is totally insensitive to all the people who have had to experience the reality.
