Anyway, any abrogation of any one's right to marry or love who they please regardless of the "sex" of the other person is actually an INFRINGEMENT on that person's GOD GIVEN rights, and certainly an abridgement of the "FREEDOM" this country is supposed to be about as expressed in people's Civil Rights, or maybe "the pursuit of happiness."

I find it disgusting that every single candidate on the Republican side is pandering to, or IS one of the Old Testament Levites calling themselves Christians.

i know I hate the idea of people being oppsed to same sex marrage. the idea that its wrong and that thay want to stop same sex coples experiencing happyness

Rights under the constitution means to be free from pain and suffering. Freedom means free from doom from means before it happens. Being gay is a form of genocide, the death from STD. No one in their right mind would cause harm to another.

First let me say this, The gays force their way onto kids in school and that is one thing I object to. I could care less what two gays do just do not teach that to my kid. If I want them to know about it them I will teach them.

As for the marriage. Why does it have to be called that?? Let them have unions or what ever, same thing as marriage but called something different. That is what I object to.

I don't see any reason at all why gays shouldn't be allowed to wed.

Apart from my Mum and Dad who've been married for over forty years, the longest lasting couple I know are a pair of gay men who've been together for over thirty years.

Both are well-educated, articulate guys, who are pleasant company. Neither is openly effeminate or camp, however you need spend only a very short time with them to realise that they are a couple.

However, I don't think there should be legislation forcing churches to wed gays, it should be left to the decision of the individual vicar/priest in charge of that particular church, much in the way that some vicars and churches will marry divorcees, but others choose not to do so.

marriage is between a man and a woman. if the gays want to have a union ware they get the same rights under the law as far as bennifits and stuff go then thats ok. but it is not a marriage and should not be called that. call it something else.
