I seems to me that your problems are directly linked to your husbands alcoholism and if you love and care for him you will try and and get him to address this ( no easy task I appreciate ). You say he has a part time job and 'plays home maker' could it be that his boozing and and being at home rather than in full time employment linked? Low self esteem might play a part and could well have somehthing to do with his lack of interest in sex ( aside from the alcohol) and this in turn could be contributing to his dependance on booze.

We have to take stuff at face value here and with respect you have only fed us stuff piecemeal. when you talk about playing home maker are you sure you are not putting him down in his efforts either at home or in therms of employment. There should be no reason normally for a young married couple like yourself not to be ejoying sex and no normal reason why a guy would turn down the chance of sex with his wife, at least not on a regular basis.

You need to sort the issues out so he gets help with the alcohol and you tackle the issues in your relationship which are causing this rift. The alcholism will kill him but your marriage will be dead long before then if you don't both get help now
