Just so you know because of the brady act the ACM was a gun free zone meaning lawfull carriers couldn't bring guns into the theater just like they can't bring them into a courthouse. 2,191 people use guns in self defence everyday yet only 34 non gun carriers are killed by criminals with guns everyday.

 

and too few realize that those pipe bombs can be made using everyday items which are available right down the street without needing a background check, a permit or anything else but a will to do damage.

When properly ignited, horrible burns. Phosphorus is just as bad, and be acquired through easy means, and thats used in High Explosive/Incendiary grenades. There are a million ways he could have killed those people. He just chose the easiest, and arguably the most cowardly way to do it.

The argument highlighted in red is probably the lamest argument I hear pro-gun people making. Just because guns are legal to own, doesn't stop the illegal ownership/use/etc. A better argument is "guns don't kill people...people kill people" :neutral:

But then, I come from the UK, where it is rare that anyone own a gun, and the police, on the whole, are not armed with lethal weaponry. Yet we aren't overrun with violence at every turn. Why? Hmm, good question, probably because the majority of us are way too lazy to be bothered to turn to crime :laughing:
