Allow Reid to put himself on the political gallows by making such an outrageous statement, and then the Romney Campaign pulls the lever on the trap door by producing his tax returns for the past 10 years and proving Reid and by extension the Democrats nothing more than liars and scoundrels.

That would be political Armageddon for the Democrats.

Surely the Romney Campaign will not miss that opportunity will they?

Because if they do then in stead of political Armageddon in those tax returns its Mittageddon and he knows it.

Here is why Romney is hiding his tax returns. Remember he is a big league Mormon (a bishop no less) and is obligated to tithe 10% of his income to the Mormon church. But - he has hidden money for years in Switzerland and the Grand Caymans. $Millions and $ Millions. So his "beloved" church does not get its payoff. Some might forgive him hiding from the tax man - but Mormons cannot forgive the cheating of their church. How embarrassing; how sneaky; how corrupt. That is why those returns will be be made public.
