Ed, my fine friend, I have been thinking on this, too. My old account (a.p.) disappeared (alas) before it could go over 2,000 posts. clarise has gone way over. And recently I noticed that one can get a custom title at 2,000 posts, so I went through the "User C.P." thingy to see if a new option had appeared, so that I could change my title.

No dice.

How does that work? Anyone know? I wanted to change my title to precious princess, but I couldn't figure out how. Do we have to PM nophest or something?

Nope long long ago I decided not to have a customized title because I'm just another member and have an ego that is fine with that.

And there's been several other bannings in knee jerk reactions since.

I know exactly why sg was banned. And this I pointed out in my first post on the thread, I believe; if not the first, then one of the very few I posted before speaking to you.

Or sorry, I didn't point it out, but suggested that if members are so curious, a little digging on threads on the first page that day, would answer their questions.

As to the 'knee-jerk bannings, I know why molly was banned. I know why erica was banned and I know why sg's sock/s have also been banned. Perhaps you'd like to know...

molly - it was pointed out that the email addy she posted on her goodbye thread was linked to a member of another site who claimed to be 13. She could have been lying there, we don't know.

erica - by 'her' own admission, she had sex with molly, which would make her:
1. the same age group (under 18 ) or possibly
2. a pedophile who preys on young girls or even a third possiblity
3. the molly and erica accounts were linked, ergo when the 'main' account gets banned, the sock one does too. This is what has happened historically, before chunky and piggit left; we were following precedent

So now you have your answers - but I have a feeling you're going to ignore what I write and just continue on accusing nobody of giving answers and treating this place like a fiefdom.

But as different people get different things out of the internet, if it makes you happy, I'll continue to rant and rave as usual.

And you get to know because you're a mod god and you can impart that knowledge to the selected few. But everything else is just your power games.

Here's three reasons why members want to know why someone was banned.

1. So other members don't make the same mistake.

2. So other members know what happened to another member they exchanged with.

3. So members can gauge whether rules are being enforced fairly or not.

And the only reason we can't get answers is because mod gods love your power and want to make this forum a reflection of you (and AZREL of course.)
