Grrrrr

I was all set to post my entry, but it seems that there's some sort of problem between my Windows 7 Wordpad & the forum - all my line-breaks have disappeared meaning the words appeared as a solid block of text.

I'll have to insert them manually which is a pain, so my story won't go up until I get home from work this evening.

 

Can you re-save your document as a Windows XP Word document? Mine upload fine, except for accents (avoid at all costs!). Indents are impossible, so I simply hit the "enter" button twice at the end of each paragraph as I type, and when I copy and paste, it looks fine.

If you absolutely need boldface or italics, you can enter them manually as you post your story, similarly to the way you do here.

I'm really anxious to read your entry, JanneyDear, also yours, S62. Nothing like stories from naughty ladies.

 

I just posted my entry. I included the official version as well as a BlackRonin-style annotated version. So I guess you could say that there are three inspirations for my story: Henry Fuseli, Rod Serling, and BlackRonin!

(But no Richard Simmons)

 

Story is up here as well; I had some problems with the entire text coming up in deep black, and formatting as well - Windows seven here. Hope all enjoy every entry; may this CAW be the best one yet.

Okay then, The Gathering of 2012 has been posted here in the forum. Like The White before it, this one is a graphical story. A non-graphics version of it will be posted shortly in Sex Stories, and also in the forum, for those who don't prefer to read the graphics version.

And...yes...Richard Simmons makes a couple of appearances.

It does appear that there are some issues between Windows 7 and the forum, but then there appears to be some issues between Windows 7 and the rest of the world, it's the most useless and annoying OS I have ever encountered, and the sooner it is gone the better! :grin::grin:

I've read the Sybils work, and it is now one more to chose from in the end on a list of great stories so far entered.

Dizzy - my thread of Cupids Corner is only 6 short of 10k reads (a new record for me in a forum story of mine). I know its not relevent to this thread, but I had to crow it out for one moment.

 

I think that's cool Snow, Congrats! I'm checking in here from time to time but I'm trying to get more done on my story. Like I said before I only came up with my new idead for this contest on Monday so I'm trying to have something ready soon. I feel like I need to cut half of what I've written and call it unneeded back story so I'm trying to get something submitable.

 

"Dante's Dictation"


“I see Hell.”

It was a whisper, barely audible above his normal breathing.

She leaned closer.

“Father?”

He didn’t repeat himself. He simply continued in the shallow gasp that he’d maintained during the last week of his illness.

She stood, dried the sweat from his forehead and sat back in the chair stationed by his bedside.

Where she’d sat for the last week of his illness.

She adjusted herself so that the candle-light would touch the pages she struggled to read while at the same time would allow her to catch any twitch of his flesh.

But he was motionless.

And so . . . so was she.

The wind outside was strong enough to sound like her own father’s breath. God’s last gasps through the limbs of the naked oaks that cloaked her only home.

It was cold outside.

But the fever of the frail father-man who lay beside her turned the inside air warm and humid. The thin fabric of her nightclothes stuck tight to her skin though every gust and rattle of the wind sent a chill from within.

And still she sat.

The physician had come by earlier today. A clop clop clop then heels hopping off the horse. Toes kicking the door. Impatient to enter her only home and repeat the diagnosis.

“He’ll expire soon child . . . sweet child. I’ll let his blood once last time, but I have no hope for a cure.”

Her father’s arm in the bowl, the hot flow.

The physician tossed the fluid onto the rocks that lined the barren beds that had once held her mother’s flowers.

A neglected cat lapped at the red stones.

The physician had held her hand.

“Call on me, child, when he is gone. You will be alone.”

Then he had smiled and ridden away.

She looked startled up now from her book. A rasp from her father’s chest or a twig on the roof or something at the window.

The sound wasn’t repeated, and so she returned to the page.

The wind. The breath. The slight silence of paper.

The sudden silence of the room.

Her eyes cut quickly to the father in the bed.

His breathing was done. The rise and fall of an involuntary chest sunk still and at rest.

That quick he had gone. Family and familiarity dead.

Laying the book aside, she stood and looked down at the father. Feared and loved.

She bent to kiss a final time his stern cheek, and the hem of her gown rose lightly, slightly up the backs of her thighs.

Then his eyes woke wide; his slim, grey lips slid into a grin.

His once limp limbs tossed his covers aside.

And he was hard, oozing dark and red.

“Take my pen,” he said. “And write what I say.”

“I see Hell.”

 

So on the earlier discussion about having sex in the submitions, I will have sex in this story but it might not be anything close to romantic. I had a lot of people give me hell about not including a real sex scene in "The Wall" so for all of those people I say the same thing as ever, it has to fit the story. This new idea I had lends itself for a number of sex scenes I just don't know if I will have enough time to complete them in the entry version of the story, I will definately have to write a longer version of this story later. But there will be sex of some kind in the entry verson.

 

Kinda sorta agree . . . sex either happens or it doesn't . . . like real life . . . it can't be forced.

 

It can, but it's a felony.

Ooh, here's an idea for a really twisted, fast writer -- Halloweenish, spooky, creepy, dark, Night Gallery-type story tied in with Fuceli's "The Nightmare."

A lonely, perverted, small-statured man goes to various towns on Trick or Treat night, or crashes Halloween parties to commit rape. To avoid identification, he dresses in costume, looking something like the incubus in the paintings (he has prints on his bedroom wall). He's done it in past years and gotten away with it, but this time, his intended victim is a police academy rookie who could pose for Playboy.​
