And your writing is so bad that if Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, and William Shakespeare all got together, they'd still come up with a better story than yours!

 

I pity you, ejls. I can put Stumbler on ignore but, as mod, you really can't.

I haven't talked to him, so I don't know what caused him to make the decision he did, but I'm glad. It's one thing to not manage one's time wisely, and another to make a simple mistake made more inconvenient by a holiday weekend.

Possibly the reason for all positive remarks and PMs is that your story is good. Did you ever consider that?



This bodes well for an exciting, fun CAW, with no drama, no bullshit, and no hard feelings. Several people have said that they enjoy the opportunity to grow as a writer through the experience of a Writers' Challenge. They're entertained by all the good stories, and amazed when a writer steps out of their comfort zone to write something different. They get to see all the different interpretations the entrants put on the theme, and can compare them to their own. They talk to one another, and maybe start a forum "friendship."

That all sounds positive to me.

What do you say, gang? Can we make it to the conclusion of a CAW without any crap? Just once?

Oh, now wait a minute. No knives? In Halloween stories?

Actually there weren't any knives in my CAW #13 entry. Other instruments of death, but no knives. Even in my non-entry, the knives, when used, were Master's freshly autoclaved surgical stainless steel.

So, I'm all good with severing parts of someone while they watch, but I don't like back-stabbing, a la CAW #10, either.

 

Now that pic should be the logo for this CAW.

 

Maybe we should gang up and call foul on Horse for beating us both. I'm sure with a little creativity we can figure out some way to make an argument that he cheated.

Then we can argue that because he shouldn't have won, CAW 12 shouldn't have happened, and therefore BlackRonin shouldn't have won, in which case we should completely throw out CAW 13! I'll bet if we argue loud and long enough, we can cause time to reverse back to the CAW 11 competition, sending us on a completely different timeline! CAW 12 will be won by a new writer that has never posted a story before, and for the CAW-13 theme will choose "steal a story from another website and post it as your entry without permission or crediting the original author." Everyone who enters will be permanently banned from XNXX, including many of the most popular authors on the site, leading to a revolt by the readers. The Sex Stories site and forum will be ruined, forcing the admins to shut both down. Angry members, no longer able to come to their favorite site, will take to the streets, marching on various capital cities of nations all over the world, initially protesting peacefully but eventually turning into riotous mobs until the governments are forced to fight back. Civil war erupts, martial law is declared, and a military coup in several nuclear-armed nations will seize power. The unstable new governments will trigger a nuclear holocaust, the world will be vaporized, and the human race will come to an end.

On second thought, maybe we shouldn't complain after all.

Well - I released this nightmare of Richard Simmons so I might as well enjoy it.

How about this as a theme for CAW 14 - Springtime in a park, Richard Simons and Michael Moore - the story has to involve all three aspects in it.
