I don't know if any of you caught President Obama's speech today on the fiscal cliff but he sure didn't offer a plea to the GOP today.

He just pretty much threw down the gauntlet and drew a line in the sand. So this is liable to get real interesting real quick.

 

I turned the TV off when he came on.

Not until we the electors realize that we are being divided & conquered and then stand together to get what is Best for us will things change.

My good friend and fellow Liberal, Kimiko, theorizes that the hoarding of cash prior to the election by greedy corporations was simply a psychological ploy, to run the economy in the ground and force a Republican-conservative-teabagger victory.

Unfortunately, she might not be correct. The hoarding of cash might continue, even though the election is over. Why? Because the capitalists want to see our progressive vision fail.

Just in case Kimiko is mistaken, we must spurn the hypocrite and traitor, John Boehner, and implement the entirety of our List Forward as soon as possible.

Here is my list of thiings to do.

Some of them might appear not to directly influence the immediate goal of creating jobs, but there are many moving parts.

For instance, why withdraw from the canals? Well, they are not sovereign territory, and it is not our fight, and it would save money, which is justification enough, but I am thinking also that more jobs will be created here and there will be more products for our many patriotic consumers if we do more commerce at home.

Additionally there will be more jobs for people in places like Panama and the Suez with we withdraw all our foreign nationals from those areas and give others a chance.

So as you can see it all sort of meshes.





Withdraw from Suez Canal.

Withdraw from Panama Canal.

Withdraw the Navy from all international shipping lanes and merge it with the Coast Guard to save costs.

Withdraw all defense assets from Japan, the Phillipines, Taiwan, South Korea, and the South China Sea.

Withdraw from NATO and recall all of its military assets from Europe.

Dissolve its northern and southern borders to welcome newcomers and save costs.

Withdraw all financial/material/technical support from Israel, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Erase the sixteen trillion dollar debt by devaluing the currency.

Withdraw from the IMF.

End the War on Drugs.

Nationalize and preserve all of the newspapers and television stations that are at or near insolvency.

Grant the EPA broad powers to bust fracking.

Tax corporate profits at 100%.

Outlaw criticism of U.S. foreign policy as subversive.

Dissolve the Federal Reserve Banking System and return to the gold standard.

Make it illegal for corporations to hoard and/or expatriate cash reserves, subject to seizure.

Make it illegal for corporations to refuse to hire qualified workers who need jobs.

Make it illegal for corporations to decline to participate in the Affordable Healthcare System.




Have I forgotten anything? Or is this a good start?


I've been thinking about my list, and there are several stipulations we have to add.

Batteries have to be much more powerful, for instance. So we need a law for that. Or perhaps just a Directive, if that filthy turncoat traitor, John Boehner, refuses to lend support from the House.

We also need a much more prominent role for the U.N. and the World Court.

Just as examples.

There is much to do, but we have to form a unified front and move forward together.

 

The entire wealth of the upper 5% can be nationalized and it will support the Obama govt for 5 months.....

So what? The Dow was a little above 8,000 when President Obama took office and is nearly 13,000 now. That's a huge increase so if it falls a little while President Obama forces the conservative/Republican/Tea Party to stop their obstructionism so be it.
