This is the best thinking I have seen around here in a long, long time, Kimiko, and let me add this: The right wing spin machine parrots at Fox News are spewing all kinds of false bullshit about how now all of a sudden the President is thinking about the fiscal cliff but that's just a filthy fucking lie because the President has been on top of the revenue creation problem for more than a year which anyone can see if they just go to his web site. But the conservative republican teabaggers won't lift a finger to step out of their happy little brainwashed comfort zone because all the greedy bastards want to do is continue to rob and pillage and go back to the good old days and pretend we never tried to fix it.

Obama will only take that money and use it to support his failing corporate buddies. They will fail anyway, taking our money with them. There will be no deficit reduction from the additional revenue so they can make more promises in the next election cycle.

If you ever thought about it, just once, you'd see that if we went back to the unbridled capitalism of the old days we'd have African Americans in chains and children chained to machines for eighteen hours a day and women tied to looms, and that's exactly what'll happen if we don't choose and protect the right government to lead us. Just look at all the good President Obama has done. Just look at all the good Mayor Bloomberg is done. Liberty's just a word, and don't you forget it. Liberty doesn't feed empty bellies. Rightwing spin machine lies. Green energy and green technology deserves a shot and there'd be a market for them if the teabaggers got the fuck out of the way and cleared out so President Obama can level the playing field and give everyone a fair shot to make the right choices.

The other thing which would be plain as day if you just read my list is that we're gonna save money across the board by getting out of all those places where it's not our fight and people have to start standing up for themselves. For example I said we have to get out of the Suez Canal. Now there are lots of reasons for that, but now with the proof that our drones in the Middle East antagonized the Iranians unnecessarily it should be plain to anyone who's not a brainwashed parrot that we have to get the hell out of there and let them work out there on problems, which they'll surely do if we stop butting in and being the world's police force all the time.

 

I just thought of a couple tasks we have to add to our list, and we can get it done if John Boehner and all those Charleton Heston loving conservative republican teabagger reactionaries get the hell out of the way.

The most racist and divisive institution in this whole country is the prison system. There are too many prisons and they cost too much and most of the people in the prisons are African American political detainees and victims on the War on Drugs which is just bullshit because consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want to do and no one should be in jail just for carrying a bag of weed and getting stopped by the cops illegally.

So it's time for a sweeping amnesty so we can shut down most of these prisons, and to make the streets safer we can get to the root of the problem by going door to door from Alaska all the way to Miami and confiscate all the guns, which should have been done long ago.

If the Republicans think that just because they lost they are going to duck out of their responsibilities and go on the dole they've got another thing coming. They're just going to have to pay their fair share, and that's it. No games. It's time for some economic patriotism around here.

 

Now don't be that way. This fight is hard enough, and we all have to pull together. I am totally on board with Umpire2's call for a new era of cooperation, and that best way for the teabaggers to cooperate is to get the hell out of the way and let progress move forward, because their ideas are in the past and there's no going back, don't you agree?

Now I think I can mark you down as totally on board that there are too many prisons in this country chaining the people and preventing them from reaching their full potential, just so the greedy 1% can slide along without honest competition and stay in power, and that's what the end of the war on drugs is all about. So we have to shut the prisons down, Kimiko, starting with all these third party contracting prison operators that are filled up with minor drug offenders and other innocent people who shouldn't even be in there. So they should be the first to go.

And the guns have to go, too, because in a free and just society there's no need for guns because the people are secure and safe and have nothing to worry about. That's all I'm saying.

So I think we should go door to door and get all the guns, and we should melt them down or put them in a museum or something, and I know I have your support on that, and I have Umpire2's support. Stumbler's into hunting, but there's nothing he can shoot in the woods that he couldn't get just as easily in the supermarket, and then his diet would be calorically balanced, and besides hunting is completely backward. So let's get all the guns. I think together we can convince him that this is the best way to move forward for the greater good.

Stumbler has good ideas, but he sometimes has difficulty expressing himself, because he can be a bit of a reactionary. But the Democratic Party is a big tent, and it accepts everyone, even hypocritical so-called-compassionate liars who claim to support justice yet cling to their hunting and guns. But I've made a pact with Kimiko and together we're going to turn him around and convince him of the evil of raping the land. Oh, believe me, you don't have to worry about him.

You should worry about yourself. Umpire2 is right. Everyone has to get on board with going forward, even the teabaggers, and if you sadsack sore losers think you're just going to check out be part of the problem instead of part of the solution you have another thing coming.
