Well to be fair, gold started to go up in '05 and right now it's down from a year ago.

 

Join us or don't. We have the numbers, and we have the power. There is no longer any need for a grand bargain. The Republican/teabagger/conservatives aren't necessary, and in my opinion it seems to be true that the reconstruction to prosperity and a more inclusive society will happen faster and less painfully if they just step aside and take a nice long four year nap.

 

Not only are they incapable of being moderate, but it is unnecessary. They are past-facing non-progressive who will not move forward, and they are not needed.

None of the 1% are needed, least of all the deluded inner circle of ideologues and demogogues who try to lead them. They will never have a majority again, because the country has moved on to a new era of peace and prosperity. They are done, and that is that, so we are wasting our time talking about wanting them to move to the center or move anywhere at all. They should just go. Period.

 

The northern and southern borders are a huge expense it seems to me just like the war on drugs and just as futile too in my opinion. The borders should be dissolved, unless of course our neighbors to the north and south would like to appropriate the expense and upkeep of the fences for their own national security, because Mexico and Canada must protect their borders.

 

Taking the long view gold has been going up since around 5000BCE but it doesn't matter and it won't matter until we dissolve the IMF, return to the gold standard, and appropriate all the gold. That can't happen all at once, of course, as long as the teabaggers stand in the way.

Now, the first thing that has to be done, to smooth the road, is knock the millionaires and billionaires down a few pegs so they stop hoarding their wealth. The lying hypocrites and traitors at Fox News/ News Corp/ Murdoch Inc. say a tax increase on the billionaires is just gratuitous punishment but it seems to me we can just call a bullshit on that filthy lie because it's scandalous and in my opinion just a little bit frightening that Romney even had the appearance of a chance in this election and almost made a close run of it thanks to all the old oil money and all the money from China thanks to George Bush's pals, so the first order of business is to clip that subversive element's wings so they can't derail America's future prosperity ever again. And the second reason to tax the billionaires is not so much to redistribute the wealth and create a socialist/communist state as all the lying right wing soap bubble reactionaries claim, no the reason for the tax increase is to incentivize the billionaires and millionaires to freely gift their wealth to the United States of America as the richest and most socially responsible aristocrats of the economically challenged European Union have done.

The robber barons of the Bush years put us into this hole, and now it's time for them to fix all the wrongs they've caused and dig us out. And if we knock them down a few pegs, you can bet your bottom dollar they'll be happy to open their warchests and gift their gold and silver hoardes to the United States of America when the Fed goes back to a gold monetary standard and calls on the People to move us forward.

 

To be more honest and fair, gold started going up when Richard Nixon took us off the gold standard and gold was 35 dollars and ounce in 1973 (I think but close)...

I bought my first gold coins back then, 3 Mexican gold Pesos ... for 100 bucks. That was 3 ounces that I sold in 1979 at 500 an ounce...

Although Gold is effected by fear and speculation it judges true inflation which right now is higher from excess money printing than how the govt computes inflation which absolutely crazy.

 

The dumbest and most destructive thing Tricky Dick ever did was hand our sovereignty over to Keynes, White, and all the other world government bastards of Bretton Woods by letting those slippery traitors pull us off the gold standard. It seems to me that the IMF is the worst thing that ever happened not only to the United States but also the world at large and we wouldn't be having all this instability in the E.U. and all these LIBOR scandals if we dissolved the World Bank, told the Rothschilds and Windsors to go to hell, and went back to a level playing field based on gold. IMHO.

You are right on the mark...it has been a long range 100's of years plans for a world monetary system. If the dollar does bust and our debt is what will put the dollar at that point that it does bust then some will come out with world money as the answer.

That is why the Chinese and so many world banks are buying so much gold the last few years. To hold your assets in the USD or EROD is just absolutely nuts.

Got to have tangible assets like land, commodities, metals.

The reason people are buying old cell phones for 10 bucks is because at the current price of gold there is $60 in each of them.​
