I also wanted to add that's its not Ron Paul's hypocritical and phony "conservative values" that made thinking people run away from him like the plague.

Its his wacko libertarian values like selling off our National Parks and public land as well as ending public education that repulsed thinking people as well it should.

You could be right, though. I am finding some aspects of being a liberal to be, oh, a bit perplexing. For instance, before the election all the moonbats (as I used to refer to them) cheered when President Obama proved in the third debate that he and Prime Minister Netanyahu are tight and that the alliance between Israel and the U.S. is strong. President Obama got the Jewish vote. Again. And everyone cheered. Since then, I have switched sides, and now I am cheering, too, just like all the other moonbats.

Yet on another thread, I am cheering our very good friend Prime Minister Netanyahu, and I am cheering our ally Israel in their righteous crusade against Abbas and the Iranian and Muslim Brotherhood proxies in Gaza and the West Bank, and I am rallying all my fellow moonbats to activate the alliance and support Israel with tanks, planes, artillery, drones, and a one-to-one match of boots on the ground, to assist our good friends, the Jews, in wiping out the Palestinian scourge once and for all.

But where are my fellow moonbats? What happened to all the cheering? What happened to all the gloating? Just a week and a half after President Obama's decisive landslide victory, where, oh where, are all the fans of Prime Minister Netanyahu? Where, oh where, are all the lovers of the Jews?

Many on the left have been skeptical about the actions of the Israeli government and America's ongoing entanglement there. Netanyahu in particular is a right wing warmonger, so I feel no desire whatsoever to support him. But then again, you don't strike me as a real leftist so much as a train jumper. Love those thinkprogress quotes that illuminate one of the crowning hypocrisy of the supposed deficit hawks on the right. The modern GOP loves running up the debt--it has since Reagan. It's a very simple formula: cut taxes left and right and keep spending like there's no tomorrow in a deliberate effort to bankrupt the government and force huge cuts to programs like SS and Medicare. It's Grover Norquist's "starve the beast" strategy and it's been very effective. It's why we face the GOP manufactured "fiscal cliff" today.

 

Well lots of people around here don't really support the President and think it's okay for him to lie to the Jews and any other special interest just to get re-elected. But what the false-Democrats don't understand is that President Obama is not just an empty act.

When he says something he means it.

Which I think goes without saying because he's kept every promise he ever made even whilst working hard to drag us back off the fiscal cliff caused by the Bush years. But some people are just lying hypocrites and false-Democrats.

And while I think that label is false let's accept it for a moment and point our that even if they are "tax and spend" its still a lot better than being the party of lie and spend.

 

Now I personally believe that Newt Gingrich is one of the phoniest conservative liars in the nation but I have to admit I find it hilarious that even Gingrich is throwing tenguy, the Rabbi and Romney under the bus.:excited:

Without bothering to look into the interview very deeply, it seems that Gingrich stated his opinion, just as Romney, the Rabbi and others have stated theirs.

But it heartens me greatly that you are using the most vilified conservative in recent history (or maybe a close second most) to support your position.

You must have very weak talking points.
