Republicans who think that Mitt Romney lost because he was not reactionary enough resemble those liberals and radicals who during and after 1968 advocated a third party on the left. They overestimate the appeal of what appeals to them.

Right wing Republicans do not understand that an economy in which the rich get richer while the median income declines is toxic to what they desire.

Lower taxes and less government is part of the traditional Republican wish list. There is no reason to believe that those policies would help most Americans during the Great Recession.

Nor is there any reason to suppose that those policies would pay off the national debt, which only began to grow in terms of gross domestic product after the election of Ronald Reagan and the institution of supply side economics.

No. Like I said, nobody on the left is as extreme as you like to portray them. How many people do you have agreeing with you now? I'd wager it's far fewer and far less often than when you were on the extreme right. Shit, you were a paragon to some on the right here....and that should scare you.

I'm not familiar with the situation, but my guess:

Conservatives like to run around saying liberals hate Israel and I've heard on more than one occasion that Obama hates Israel. This would then go further and suggest that Obama and Netanyahu weren't tight and that Israel does not like Obama's presidency and that the alliance is weaker because the ties were weaker.

So of course the liberals cheer when, yet another, conservative talking point is proven incorrect.

Liberals don't like the way Israel abuses its power. Things like settlements and the treatment of innocents is kind of offensive. So it's no wonder when you advocate the continuing of these abuses that you find little support...

And extra support for Israel, when we already give them so much money? I think that's another thing you'll have issues with, at least on the left.

I have to agree that Clarise does a really terrible job of trying to imitate a liberal/progressive and remains an intellectual and academic fraud as well as a plastic bubble reactionary just babbling about things she/he/it doesn't even know.
