Much has been said about prostitution and if its bad or not and if it "takes advantage" or if it treats woman as objects ?

My personal view is that these woman supply a service to men who for whatever reason can't get or require the company of a woman without all the hassle of dating etc.

I have used prostitutes many times and for the simple reason that I know that I am guaranteed sex with the type of woman I desire that being younger females obviously of legal age.

Also I can pay for and get sexual kinks that other "normal" woman might not be into !!

I would particularly like to hear from woman on this subject as I have a fair idea of most men's point of view !!

I'm acquainted with a woman who's an escort (her preferred term), she makes good money and I can't say I haven't thought of joining her once or twice so *I* could make some extra cash! She supports herself, doesn't have to worry about the next paycheck because she literally works every day that she wants to, and if she doesn't want to work she doesn't have to. I agree that street prostitution is dangerous and demeaning, especially for women with pimps who control their lives and take part or all of their earnings and are frequently abusive. HAVING to put yourself out there at a pimp's whim is different to me than being a well-paid self-sufficient escort who works out of a hotel and sets everything up over the phone before going to meet the guy.

I'm sorry but usually, as far as I've seen in person, women find everything "wrong". Porn, prostitution, "unmeaning" sex, etc, all of it is degrading to quite a few women. Personally, I don't think any of it is wrong including prostitution. It is a way to get money and as long is both parties consent there isn't really any harm. Having been one to use escorts and massage parlors regularly, I find nothing wrong with them. I'm not one to force women to do something they don't want to. And everyone's already said it about services rendered for a price. I enjoy massage parlors because of the excitement of it. Exactly. There are men willing to pay to fuck someone, and there are women willing to meet that demand and collect the money. I don't know. Prostitution is not inherently bad but many women suffer in the industry--especially if it's illegal (like in the US). Women meet all kinds of weirdos and are vulnerable to disease. A lot were sexually abused in the past. Many make thousands of dollars a day but most are not wealthy. Not to mention many of them have a compulsive relationship with sex. Legalization is only half of the solution. Men just need to respect women. In countries where there is more gender equality (like NZ or Australia/NSW), prostitution is less exploitative.

 

There's all different aspects of the sex industry and some can be bad and dangerous. Girls on the street mostly have pimps and they might not even get to keep any money they get. It is dangerous and dirty and a lot start young they can even literally be kidnapped and put on the street working.

In brothels its a lot better at least in Nevada. Not everwhere is exactly the same but you sign contracts to work for a week or a couple weeks at a time. You can make up your own price sometimes but the brothel gets half. They end up getting more if the house offers girls services. Like some have meals, gym, people come to give massages and the girls have to pay for all that. Since you are not supposed to leave the brothel during your contract you can end up spending a lot of the money you make. The really good thing is to be social with other girls and it is safe and someone comes around to test you so it is clean. Condoms are required at the brothels. One bad thing is that you need a license and since that goes on your "record" it can be a problem if you want to have a more regular job later on.

The ones that make the most are escorts and they can make all different rules. With escorts there's not always sex because the men don't always want that. They develop a relationship and want a girl to listen to them and take away their stresses. Clients can have a lot of money and sometimes they want a girl who is "presentable" and can have a conversation with associates if they take the girl on a date or event with associates. Most girls probably get tested a lot and require condoms that I know of but it is up to them in brothel's it is the law at least in Nevada.

There's also party planners that will hire girls to make appearances or be hostesses and they don't get paid for sex exactly but it is expected the girls are "available." If a girl doesn't want to party like that she probably won't be invited to another one.

Escorting is the best way I think because you can have just a couple clients and only have to go on like a few dates a month and it can be worth it. Also it is better without a pimp but you need security and that can be like 20% of what you get paid but that depends on what kind of date it is.

I don't know if its exploitative I think it is sometimes especially for girls on the street. But I hear how men complain about their jobs and bosses and I don't think it is worse than any of those jobs working girls at least make people happy!
