First off my heart and deepest sympathy goes out to all of the victims and families that are affected by this senseless tragedy.

If people are looking for answers to the trend toward these types of killings, obviously you need to look at the availability of guns first but I can't help but think of how video games glamorise killing and murder and cause kids to become desensitized to death to a degree and think it's a rush to go postal in public. I can't understand how parents let their youngsters play these fucking games all day and night 24/7/365

 

It'd be nice to have him stand trial, but it's more important to make sure he doesn't kill anyone else while you're trying to arrest him.

 

There already are armed guards in our high schools. We have the town police acting as our security along with our own security personnel. And this was several years ago.

 

CBS is reporting the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Now there is some question about the shooters identity. He could have been carrying an id that didn't belong to him. Speculation is he might have been carrying his brother's ID and further unconfirmed reports his brother is the other family member who was killed at another location.

Now they are saying the shooter, 24-year-old Ryan Lanza, was the son of a teacher who was also killed at the school.

 

As This guy was from New Jersey, I agree, no guns for all the new Jerseys people...that is where the mob lives...right?

They are saying that Adam is the main shooter and that he is rumored to have taken his mother's car to drive to the school.

apparently the shooter was Adam Lanza not his older brother Ryan Lanza. The teacher was his mother. Ryan Lanza was at work when this happened.

 

Had to leave work, drive directly to my son's house and give my grandkids a hug today. Can't wrap my brain around this event - it has me beside myself. I can not fathom the grief of the families of the victims, 5 and 6 year olds!!! Not sure what it is going to take to scrub the horror of this event out of our collective minds. I wonder what any one of us can do to assist that tortured community. Wow.

 

I had to go pick up my grandsons from school today. Not really a small thing because it is a 50 mile round trip, and you and tenguy can figure those costs. But even though the kindergartner teacher and I couldn't make eye contact I was never gladder to pick them up and I never said a word about it if they didn't.
