  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

The three essentials to weight loss:

    1. Meth
    2. Anorexia
    3. Resistance is a character building exercise.

Possibly a fourth would be eat less. Just an idea.

A very flippant remark. I expect you have never had any problems weight wise. Anorexia is not a joke, it's an ILLNESS, and drugs never helped anyone. We are trying to find a HEALTHY sustainable lifestyle.

Take your 'helpful' and no doubt witty comment and put it where the sun don't shine

the only "problem" anyone should see with their body type shoud be that others have the issue with it
all people are created to be beautiful in their own way and to be who they are designed to be
health issues aside most people can be thier personal best if they just remain active
ladies do not do anything because you want to please anyone else, do it because its what you want for yourself
never try to make anyone else happy if you do not make yourself happy first

At the official Sunday morning weigh in I am actually 1lb lighter than last week at 11st 1lb, so I'm just about at my pre Christmas 11st mark.

But I'm not stopping there, I have an aim to get back into 32" waist jeans (I currently wear 34"). :p

I think I know the key to getting a low reading on the scales, drink loads of alcohol the night before, thereby dehydrating yourself, seems to work for me ;)

PS - only kidding I'm not advocating dehydration as an effective weight loss technique!

Oh hey hi sweetie; wanna reach into your own ass and retract your comments? Anorexia is something i battle with constantly so i'd say i do have experience with weight issues. Am also a meth-head so double burn. So do i seem like i'm making jokes now?

I apologise if your above comment is genuine. I don't feel able to help you in either case, but if anyone else can, feel free to ask for advice.

You're doing GREAT, sweetie... I'm SO proud of you! :rose:  :rose:

Even if the comment is genuine, it contributes little to a serious thread concerning healthy weight LOSS. If that person is experiencing other issues, they would best be addressed in a different (new) thread.

Congrats on your own success, Cija, and for the way in which you are inspiring others! :rose:

Thanks AT - very concisely put. Though I'm not averse to supporting people who want to gain weight, I can only encourage them, as it's outside my experience. I don't find it hard to gain weight, but then I'm not eating healthily when I do

I'm trying to lose a little weight as well. My goal is to lose around 10 kilos. I think it's all about the calories, I just try to consume around 1200 kcal a day, which has worked for me so far.

Never fear Sully, I'm well built so I will never look skinny - as I said, healthy is enough :kiss::kiss:

It's my official weigh in tomorrow - it's looking good :) It will be a challenging week, with a meal out on Wednesday and a party on Friday. I shall have to make sure I keep the exercise up.

My goal is to lose about 15lbs+. Certain areas in my body are thicker than others. But as I continue exercising, I keep noticing my boobs are getting smaller, which kinda sucks.

Anyways, I don't really track my calories. Just exercise. Being vegetarian, I think it's easier for me since I don't crave fast food or other unhealthy foods. Hopefully I'm in my dream body by summer.

Hi Justride - you're at a good age to set healthy habits and achieve a good weight. I too don't eat junk food, and I eat very little meat, and just a little fish every now and again. Although nuts are a good source of protein for vegetarians, and healthy too, watch out for the fat content. I was pretty horrified when I worked out the value of the nut roast I used to make - now I make sure to have a smaller portion.

It's my weighing in day - a whopping 2lb off this week :excited: I'm just 2 pounds off never having to see a certain number on my scales again (ie * stone 1 right now) and nine pounds lighter than my Christmas/winter high. I've also taken my current goal down another 7

    Grats to both you girls!!

    Keep up the good work!!

My friend who is walking from Alice Springs to Adelaide..... beginning in 59 days!!

She started at almost 200 kgs (I think that works out to be about 440 pounds....hmm?).

After health issues, yes a heart attack, we all need a wake up call that will 'kick' us out of our own situation.

She is now about 85 kg (under 200 pound, i think). She is losing a little weight but she is also building muscle ready for her challenge.

Her weight loss didn't only change her health it also helped her confidence and self esteem immeasurably..... in fact transformed! would be a more apt description
She is also the public face for Suicide Awareness in Northern Territory (yes, in Australia, of course) and is working in media and doing public speaking and conducting interviews and charity work very regularly now..... an incredible personal transformation when compared to the person I first met almost 4 years ago,

just hoping to help inspire anyone who needs a little inspiration. This is real thou, no fad diet or pre packaged food, no reading books or videos, she just got up off her lard ass (her words) and thou simple portion control and some exercise (she was on crutches at her maximal weight, with diabetes, etc etc). She did it cause she wanted it... she wanted it so badly, she wasn't gonna give in... and she hasn't....

note, she isn't a saint... she still smokes and drinks (too much on the drink, naughty girl, my opinion) but she is genuine.... no gimmicks

keep up the good work, ya all !!

    Nad.....
