    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    When I'm on my regime, Wednesday is usually the lowest point weightwise - so I'm going to be indulgent and take this mornings' reading - meaning that this week I've actually lost 2lb, not one - which brings me under the stone mark. Happy me! :)

    Good video Randy. Basically, the idea of the 5:2 is just having two low calorie days vs five moderate-high calorie days.

    Intermittent Fasting (IF) is a useful tool if you use it properly. Make sure the days aren't consecutive and you implement no more than 2 (absolute maximum of 3) IF days per week. But the principal behind it is that you place the body into a brief ketogenic state, and in the afternoon/evening a normal or slightly larger meal is eaten. This tricks the person into thinking they've eaten a normal day's worth of food while reaping the benefits of a low calorie day.

    One of the best words of advice I've seen is, "Follow success, because success leaves clues." Honestly, if you want the most comprehensive articles on purely fat loss (fat loss with muscle preservation) I'd recommend reading up on what bodybuilders and nutritionists write. Nate Miyaki has some great writings for fat loss and has the body to back it up.

    Thanks Randy, I had seen the programme but haven't tried it as what I'm doing is working for me. On the WW system you have a daily allowance that you must eat, and a weekly allowance to use as you wish - I try to have as many non indulgent days as I can, and let go a little more at the weekend. Sometimes I will have a day on which I forget counting altogether, but don't go over the top.

    In the past I've fasted on various retreats - but that was total 'no eating' fasts which actually are pretty damn simple, and not that difficult once you get into it. What's hard is coming off the fast - I have never found anyone who can give good advice on how to break a fast properly.

    I'm having a bit of a rebound - the scales are showing a slight gain, and it's getting much harder. I feel hungry a lot of the time :(

    awww I know how you feel Cija...I hit a plateau, but today when I went on the scale it was again one kilo less! Now I am actually back to my weight when I was 15 or so :excited: yay!

    Its gonna be tough though! I am gonna go on a holiday with friends for 5 days...I prolly won´t be able to hold my diet, but I hope I won´t gain any weight at least!
