i agree seth is annoying however her betrayal of the POWs who trusted her to deliver messages to their families is something to get upset over.agree with the war or not what she did added to the pain those men had to endure,which is why i ask who is she to judge anyone.

She is one of a number of celebrities who lent her charm to the anti war movement during the War in Vietnam and made it an exciting place for a young person to be.

Her open support for the Communists was politically foolish, but the War in Vietnam was more foolish, and vastly more evil for reasons I explained here:

The fact that she co-operated with the enemy and handed over to them notes she said she would bring home does not make her a traitor, but she was giving aid and comfort to an enemy state.

As for her "foolishness" it pretty much ruined her career, but then her acting was not close to her fathers so she was pretty much B rated at the time.

As for "exciting" it shows that you have no idea what fighting a war is like or being a civilian caught in the middle.

You have a fucked up country, over here she would have had a D Notice slapped on her. He would not possibly get re-elected with that stance. But there are many of the same age who fled north to escape the draft, also I remember Springsteen saying in the 80s that he starved himself for a couple of weeks so he would get an exemption certificate. He did however say it was wrong, but that was for the audience which consisted of me, the population of Munich and any Trooper based in Bavaria who could get tickets. No matter what the music was good and the Munich Riding Stadium was full.

 

While I heartily disagreed with the whole Vietnam debacle, Jane Fonda needs to have her filthy fucking cake hole sewn shut with burlap and her eyes gouged out with a hot spoon, right after being raped and sodomized repeatedly with a splintered piece of aromatic cedar.

There is a word I reserve for only the most severe and extreme circumstances...I think you all know what it is and it starts with the letter "c." And its not a strong enough word to describe my feelings about Jane Fonda.

the possible problem with our heroine jane fonda here is that all their words are just that, words, and nothing more. i don't know whether she has walked the walk but i know she has done a lot of talking. vietnam, the united states had little business being there is my understanding. probably about as much reason for being in afghanistan and iraq too... hey, why not, its all good. the united states government is an evil empire.

 

and what in the hell was seth macfarlane even doing at the oscars anyway. he isn't in the movie business, he is in television.
