These are the voters of today,,understanding how Oballah got re-elected,, is abundantly clear now.

 

Of course he did. He allows Ryan to claim he has a plan, allows votes on the Ryan plan and says he's passed a plan and it's up to the Senate to get it passed.

But Ryan's budget can never pass the Senate. So by Boehners own standards he passed no plan.

So was he lying then or is he lying now?

 

Where is the PASSED PLAN from the Senate??,,,last that I heard there wasn't one,, the House has passed 2 separate plans,,whereas the Senate has failed to pass ANY plan that would replace the sequester...

 

Aces is right. The House passes a plan, the Senate looks at it, makes changes, then passes its plan. The two bills go to conference where the final deal is hammered out. Without a bill from the Senate there is no final budget resolution. Harry Reid won't even consider a debate of any House plan or send it to committee so the fault has to be placed squarely at the door of the Democratically controlled Senate.

 

Ace is wrong by Boehner's own standards and by the fact that any bill he got passed happened in the last congress, not this one, and became history the instant the last congress did.

Boehner and the Tea Partiers (Wow. What a name for a really lousy garage band!) are incapable of passing a bill that could be reconciled, or that Sanders, and independent, wouldn't block with a filibusterer. It would be a pointless waste of the Senate's time, something Boehner is intimately familliar with as the Speaker of the Worth-Less-Than-The-Do-Nothing-Congress.

Ace, please stop impersonating a four year old with your name calling. "Oballa" indeed. He is the President of the United States. Show courtesy and respect to the office even if you are incapable of showing it to the man.

The "Do Nothing Congress" of the 1950's managed to pass over 900 pieces of legislation. Boehner and the Tea Partiers managed just over 100 in the last session, and anything that the President didn't sign into law is now in the round file of history. Including anything Boehner managed to get through his own chamber.

The so-called "budget" he allowed Ryan to pass (and pass and pass again) is a worthless excersize as it depends on such things as repealing ObamaCare ("that's not going to happen." - Chris Matthews, Fox News) while keeping the cuts in Medicare spending it contains as part of his math and doesn't balance for forty - count 'em - Forty Years.
That's not a bill, it's an Aynd Rand joke.

Two other budgets have just been filed, one from the Senate and the President's proposal. Boehner has declared them both DOA so he'll have to pass a continuing funding resolution or give up his own federal paycheck.

And as to Senate yo-yo's, I hope you include Mitch McConnel in that lot. Especially after he declared that his most important mission in the senate was not the deficit, or national defense, or the economy, or the people who elected him, or even saving the world from the evildoers of the axis of evildoers (whoever or whatever the heck they are). No, it was making sure that Obama became a one term president, and he failed miserably at it.

Another thoughtless waste of the Senat's time and the taxpayer's money.

Passing over 900 bills means nothing, passing 9 bullshit bills against the people,,is much worse than passing 1 good bill for the people. This country has enough bullshit legislation than it can muster, passing a bunch of senseless legislation is nothing more than bad/over bloated government.

The house is the one that will fund Obamacare, it can easily be defunded.

Almost half the savings in the Ryan budget come from a repeal of ObamaCare. Eliminating Obama's new health care entitlement saves $1.8 trillion over the next decade,,didn't Obama tell the lie that it would cost under $1 trillion,,yes ,,,yes Oballah did say that.

Growing the Government according to Ryan's plan, at 3.4% is much better than the path we are on with 5% growth,,I guess Ryan's growth of government is not good enough for the delusional leftists that dont see that this country has a spending problem.

McConnel never said anything of the like in regards to the deficit, or national defense, or the economy, or the people who elected him, or even saving the world from the evildoers of the axis of evildoers. I expect China to dominate the world by the end of this century. My hope is that by the time this happens China will have adopted a democratic government and a less coercive way of reducing its population than its one child only policy. In Japan and Taiwan the population is declining with no government policy to encourage the decline at all.
