I'm surprised no one here has raised the alarm. The idea that he would form his own lobby group to further his agenda, and sells access to himself to fund the thing just plain stinks of immoral, unethical behavior.

We have met the enemy and he is us "Walt kelly and Ten Guy"

 

I haven't read the articles but I have to wonder why he needs a lobby when he already has the media and Democrat party.

 

Well he has done everything he can to destroy this country while in Office so now her wants to continue his work once he is out of Office...

Whether the truth of the matter is as it seems (Obama is even more corrupt than I thought) or whether the facts are wildly skewed by his opponents (every bit as corrupt), the fact remains that power is a narcotic, and some people in this world are seriously hooked.

Organizing for Action is a nonprofit organization established to support President Obama in achieving enactment of the national agenda Americans voted for on Election Day 2012. OFA will advocate for these policies throughout the country and will mobilize citizens of all parties and diverse points to speak out for speedy passage and effective implementation of this program, including gun control, sensible environmental policies to address climate change and immigration reform. A social welfare program that advances public policy on non social issues. Sounds like something's amiss to me.

Personally, I would love to see meaningful campaign finance reform with publicly financed elections so that our leaders don't feel compelled to whore themselves out to special interests constantly, but this isn't likely to happen. Even modest campaign reform has been shot down (primarily by conservative justices), so it would take a Constitutional amendment to change things at this point.

 

Show me one Republican president who has created, while in office, a non profit "social welfare" organization whose goal is to further his agenda.

You really need to start addressing the issues, rather than eternally trying to blame Republicans for the failures of your president.

 

Abraham Lincoln lobbied to free the slaves. Obama is taking his lead. Thank goodness for hard working elected officials that care about the USA!
