  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

I will say this that on a State level it's a perfectly fine idea. at least you can move to another state to escape the thing. I like the one's who compare it to auto insurance... I have a choice to buy a car and thus a choice about the expense of auto insurance. Nonsequiter argument. This is going to bankrupt the nation if nothing else does. It might have been Rommney's idea but he's hardly a republican... or at least hardly a conservative... I didn't like him he's in the same category as "W" useless weak quasi socialist.... Not what I think a republican is. But apparently the vast difference between pepsi and diet pepsi is a real big deal to these guys... I just want a glass of water! and all I can get is pepsi or diet pepsi... I hate pepsi!

Bush didn't spend $2,000,000 on one vacation. Bush didn't have a 40 car motor cade just to go a few blocks to a hamburger stand for a photo op. Bush didn't take half the vacations as comrade Barry. Comrade Barry says.....

A tidbit from yahoo news, looks like more american people are starting to see what Clarise and i have pointed out.

"And perhaps even more ominously for the Obama administration, some consumers are discovering that their premiums are going to skyrocket, and they are threatening just to pay the penalty and “self-insure.”
Young adults, too, are pushing back on the requirement to buy insurance. If enough healthy people don’t buy into the new system, leaving insurance companies with risk weighted toward unhealthy people who cannot be denied coverage, no matter the cost, the system will collapse.

The more i talk to other people that are looking at this it seems that a good average increase of healthcare costs across the board is around 300% for anyone making less than $150, 000 annually. Dems you tell me how that's helping people living paycheck to paycheck.........

In Massachusetts the cutoff below which a family absolutely will not even be considered for a taxpayerr-subsidized discount is around $94,000. This is a laughable amount. It might be a decent income in Iowa, but $94,000 joint income in Massachusetts won't buy a cardboard shack.

So, people below that amount are paying a lot more, even with the subsidies, than they are used to.

What about the people making more than $100,000?

The fact the rates are not going up for them under Obamacare doesn't mean they're using some rich-person's loophole to get a special deal. What it means is they have already been paying the actual price for their health insurance.

This is especially true of people making over $150,000, who are often (if not typically) principals of firms and employers themselves. This means they are accustomed to getting shaken down for the full cost. That's why so many affluent people are watching this circus and just throwing up their hands in disgust. None of this hurts them, because they've been getting screwed all along.

Whenever Bush went back to Texas for more than a weekend, he took the most essential of his White House staff with him.

I am shocked that most american people are telling the government to fuck off and are refusing to get the insurance and will take their chances with the fines. Everyone was calling me an idiot for thinking that, now I suppose most of the country is idiots too. They must have poured out the kool aid

WTF are you all bitchin' about? It's called the "Affordable Care Act." Hence it's "affordable." Obama and the Dems would never lie to us.

So everyone needs to just sit back and enjoy the "affordable" care that Obama and the Dems gave to us. :excited:

Yea......My heath insurance went from $47.00 a week to $113.00 a week. Thanks comrade Berry. Now I have to stop eating. I am so glad we have dahbama care. So that price is $48.00 less a month than my rent. So now I went from $188.00 a month to $452.00 a month for something I use every other year. $5424.00 a year. BULLSHIT!

It is a curious thing to me reading about the issues across the pond. Many countries in Europe have universal health care. However, they are able to afford this because they do not put so much of their budget into their military. I am not calling the US a war machine or anything like that. Rather, those countries who do not have a large military budget are able to do so because they rely on the US to provide protection and support if the need ever arises. Despite this, they still require massive taxes to support such a system. They also do not have nearly the number of frivolous lawsuits that drive up the cost of health insurance as the US. With this in mind, I do not see how the US expects to support such a system.

Several of us have been begging the fans of Obamacare on this forum to at least consider the possibility that it is not fair to expect the United States to emulate the entitlement systems of small, essentially closed societies like Norway and Scandinavia.

You've really nailed it with respect to the cost of national security.

I would love to make a trade with Scandinavia (or even Germany, for that matter): I'll take the cost of their socialized health systems, if they'll take the cost of the U.S. military.

Of course Obamacare is a Ponzi Scheme, but a vocal and exceptionally strident/recalcitrant minority simply will not listen. I have pretty much given up arguing with them and have thrown up my hands. People who blindly supported the law on the expectation that healthcare would be free are now learning what healthcare really costs. Personally none of this affects me, because I've been paying full cost for healthcare for more than five years.

Some how people of the democratic cult seem to think this is good. Exactly what I have been trying to tell them is i can't eat the goddamn shit but it will be replacing a large quantity of food at my house if i were to buy it. That is why I will not buy it.
