So, I make $9/hr and the AHCA has cut the premiums of the plans available to me in half, and 99.6% of it comes back in tax credit (as opposed to about 70% previously). I'm calling that pretty affordable.

I can actually have health insurance now, which is pretty nifty, as someone who's seen eight deaths of close family in the last 10 years, all cancer.

The answer is; Obamacare prohibits preexisting conditions from being considered in the issuance of a policy.

Now, you want to talk about how Obamacare harms cancer patients, we can do that, and I agree; it surely will harm them.

The title of the link that I provided clearly states that cancer patients will receive insurance for cancer through the Affordable Care Act.

I added a well needed explanation of the medical service that they will be provided,,,,under Obamacare,,which in turn,, I would suspect it will be nothing like we already have or,,,anything like what the unfortunate patient will be expecting

Just about anyone can get health insurance. It may be way to expensive for them, and it may have restrictions for pre existing conditions, but they can get it.

Are you talking about illegal aliens? Cause, you know, they won't be covered under Obamacare either.

Or, are you talking about getting "affordable" health care? Cause, you know, according to everything I've seen, "affordable" is just another way of saying "subsidized" under Obamacare.
