In Canada there is no longer a charge of Rape in our Criminal Code, it is called Sexual Assault. This was brought about by men coming forward that had been raped by women and getting nothing but ridicule/derision by the authorities.
One case was a group of teens that dragged a young guy into a van in a mall parking lot and threatened him with violence to perform or die. Another a girl stalked a guy and played 'Misery' with him in his own apartment.

I think it might be only a thing for younger men and boys, mostly virgin boys that may have a fear of actually doing it because of religious belief or a parent issue.
