I want no part of an America ran by the Sarah Palins, the Ted Cruz's, Paul Ryan etal. If these and others of their ilk ever are elected then America will have put itself in a living hell. Their ideology is destructive to the things that made us what we are. These newbies running their mouths about how wonderful they and the tea party are have no concept of how little they understand about our history and why America must act to keep these kind of wide eyed fanatics from high office. Now, before you knuckledraggers start the "you worried about your welfare, your government cheese, your food stamps let me inform you here and now that I have never had any of the foregoing. I have worked since age 16 and voted every national election, bought my first home at age 23, served in our military and never been arrested.

I voted Republican for years until the party left me, I didn't leave it. Today Republican doesn't mean what it once meant. It is a party of mean spirit, exclusion and racism.

My first president was FDR (I was a kid when he died), I had tremendous respect for Eisenhower, tolerated Reagan (voted for him twice) but now I wouldn't think of supporting a Republican either locally or notationally. I am proud to be a Democrat and to have President Obama in office.

Notice I didn't even discuss Michelle Bachmann (IQ of a slug)

I agree, we don't need the tea party. We also don't need a democratic party, a republican party, independent party, or any other party.
We need honest people who really care about this country. We will not find that as long as people attach some party to their name.

 

The Tea Party is the only party who believes current levels of government spending are too high. While history will show they were right, most politicians of both parties and most voters only care about keeping the unsustainable levels of spending going as long as possible. People just want to get as much free stuff as they can over the short term.
