Hello, my lovelies. I finally have wifi now, so perhaps my updates won't be as infrequent. I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that I'm a single woman again after 4.5 years. Am I happy about it? Hell no. But with time comes acceptance, and with acceptance comes peace of mind. I had a great day yesterday. My OB was pleased with my progress so far (17 weeks along now) and was glad that I had a pleasant disposition this time. Last time she saw me I was a blubbering mess. She also congratulated me on continuing to be mindful of my calories and not overindulging like a lot of pregnant women tend to do. I am still losing excess weight while making sure the Bean is healthy. For someone who has no clue what she's doing (moi), I seem to be doing everything right thus far. Yay me!

I had a breakdown the day before yesterday, though. My best friend now has a serious girlfriend, so I've been put on the backburner at the worst time. My (ex) boyfriend cancelled our lunch plans we were supposed to have yesterday, which just made my weepiness worse. Even after all of that mess, yesterday turned out to be an amazing day. I got to catch up with some friends after my OB appt, which was just what I needed. I actually laughed and smiled sincerely for the first time since all this shit went down. I was floating on cloud 9 yesterday, lovelies. It was a nice feeling. I even took a pic of my smile before it could be taken away again. It isn't much, but it's something.

Oh, another thing the OB told me...I will be finding out the gender of my Bean in 4 weeks! I'm hoping my hunches are correct.

 

Congrats on the news! Kinda turns me on thinking of cumming in u with no consequences. Might be disturbing to some that was my first thought lol. Take care!

I'm having such an easy pregnancy thus far. I am so grateful that I haven't had a miserable one like a lot of ladies I've heard horror stories from. Now the only thing I fret over is the actual birth. I don't exactly have a lot of room to work with down there as it is, so I'm scared that the poor Bean will get stuck or that I'll have to get a C-Section or something.

 

Just pray that you don't have to push out anything over 9 pounds.

 

Oh, I seriously doubt that will be an issue lol.

 

I knew one woman that had 3 kids. None of them were under 10 pounds and she had them all naturally, no C-section.

 

First, congrats!

Second, I`m sure you are stronger then you think. Take it day-by-day and I guess everything will be fine.

Third, you`ve begun another step in your life. It might be difficult, but its a thing you should be proud.

 

Large babies don't run in either family, so that's why I said that it isnt' likely. Besides, I'm not gorging myself on food so there's really no way the baby could gain so much weight in there lol
