Thanks, guys. I'm doing MUCH better now. I have a plan of action and I hope it pans out. I'm feeling pretty fabulous these days.

We are both fabulous! Bean's starting to be even more ornery nowadays. She started moving around a lot this week. Feels so weird (and a bit uncomfortable, esp when she settles into my pelvis)...but I love it. Can't wait to see her when I go in for my mid-term ultrasound (that's also when her gender will be confirmed...I'm convinced it's a girl, as are most folks I know lol). At this point, things are just great.

If you are the best Mom you can be, you will be the best person.

 

I'm sure that you will be a great mom. Hopefully your daughter will have your pretty eyes and gorgeous red hair.

Thanks, everyone. I do need all of the positive vibes I can get right now, though. Got a call from the OB's office today saying my little one tested positive for open spina bifida. A specialist from St. Louis is coming down on Tuesday to do a more in depth analysis and an ultrasound to see if the blood test is true or if I triggered a false positive. I'm very nervous about something possibly being wrong with my Bean. So please, any positive thoughts/vibes being sent my way is much appreciated.

 

Hang on to positive thoughts. If it is positive its ok. I know three or 3-4 people who have it to varying degrees and although in wheelchairs they are leading normal lives.
Here's to you and bean and may the mother goddess look upon you with love.

 

I'll keep the positive thought coming, but you have to also. I hope and prey that you are right and that it is a false positive.
