Maybe all of those pollies and climate change deniers generally should spend some time out on Centre Court at the Australian Open this week with 40 degree Celsius (105 Fahrenheit) temps, and see how they like it!

 

No amount of science will impress the knuckle draggers who began to oppose the entire idea of Climate change since the day Al Gore first reported it here in the US. They will most likely be gone when it get's obvious enough to convince them, unfortunately many who do believe in it's existence will go with them..

 

I think the governments of the world will react to global warming in the future like they do now, which is what makes them and their lobbyists the most profit. Screw the people, screw the planet, and screw the environment they want money and lots of it.

What you and the OP fail to mention (perhaps you fail to understand) but many who are opposed to the methods proposed by folks like Algor, do not dispute the fact that the climate is changing, but do disagree on the cause and the remedy.

I have yet to read here or any other internet forum any comments about methodology other than isolated resistance usually by individuals personally affected by some regulation. since WHEN has the climate of the Earth EVER been an UNCHANGEING thing?! it has ALWAYS changed! over a century ago it was a common occurrence for rivers in the Northeast to FREEZE SOLID EVERY WINTER. THAT changed BEFORE the "Great Industrial Revolution". OHHH and uhhh, just HOW many Massive or overly Powerful Hurricanes happened THIS year as the "Climate Psycos" Predicted? Ohhh My we had some blizzards THIS winter! Ohhh Nooo, we had sub zero Tempratrues in the Great Prairie this winter ! We had freezes and hot temperatures in Florida this winter !

What the Hell do you Mean, you have this every winter? This was the worst cold snap in the US in 20 years. Record temps and freak weather events show that climate change is happening right now, and virtually all the scientists agree that it is happening, as my original post shows.

look up the Little Ice Age LIA then read it and take into account this was going on 600 and more years ago then look at the studies of the earths weather before that.
