Good post.. I'll just add that it's unfortunate that Clarise tried to play the sock card as it backfired on her. Rick, in my opinion, hasn't a clue how to handle himself on a message board. Why oh why didn't Clarise just let the fucktard self destruct and not play that sock card? Why did Clarise stupidly bring ROM into this?

Granted the sock card has worked for other vindictive, pompous trolls in the past. It didn't work here, however, in the this thread for Clarise and I hope others realize this and take notice that when they play that sock card they may very well end up with egg on their faces. Cheers!

Clarise, Rick had already stomped off on one his temper tantrums. Randy, Ace and others already had his number. The idiot was self-destructing on his own because he is an immature douche without a clue about how to handle himself on message boards. You playing the sock card lifted him up and worked in his favor. It not only didn't do what you wanted it to do, it hurt you.

And I didn't pull the sock card. RandyKnight is the guy who made the connection. It did happen here on this thread, but I didn't name anyone at all-- neither ROS nor ROM-- until Randy made the connection. And then... well, the rest is history. It made sense to absolutely everyone.

ROM especially. Because he jumped right in, in Rickyboy's defense, as though they're tied at the hip or something. And then one of the avatars-- I'm still not sure which-- ran off to the moderators like some kind of wussy little Momma's boy. One of them posted my PM-- ROM says he did it, and one of the avatars on Page 4 posted confidential PM info from ejls to the effect that she thinks Ricky posted it, and if that's true even the moderators can't tell them apart.

So, I don't know. Apparently you're not sold on the sock theory, but I doubt they're lovers and I certainly don't think they're Siamese Twins.

I think it's pretty obvious that you're wrong on this clarise but it isn't my fight. I'm just an observer here. You do make me laugh with some of the things you say though. I should write these down and title them.... "clarise-isms".

No, actually Kenny14 made very insightful posts and clearly stated his points, which I agree with. Additionally, I don't believe you are 77 and in my opinion you don't state your points clearly and rarely do you even make a point.

I was around 10 or 11 for the Thriller craze. Maybe a little bit younger, but like all the kids back then I watched MTV and played the CDs of my older sibs. It's all a blur. I'd have to do the math. But I sure do remember Michael's metamorphosis.

Growing up into my teens, we used to call him "veal man," because he seemed to transform like a skinny little milk-fed calf stuffed in a crate and deprived of sun.

Funny... the "veal" moniker was mocking and completely uncharitable, but even back then, as kids, we were sensitive to racially charged epithets, and we would not have dreamed of calling him a boy, or a cute boy. Even though we dated boys-- and indeed, even dated black boys (erm, I mean black guys.)... or maybe because we hung out with black kids and dated black guys. Hey, I grew up in leafy Massachusetts suburbia, and interracial dating was no big deal at all. I suppose that's why I'm so attuned to the racism here, which often is so engrained that the racists are genuinely shocked and insulted when they are called out for it.

I am losing interest in this, and I really am serious about the hiatus.

I've made a couple nice friends here, though. Kenny and Jack&Jill seem nice.

That's the spirit RickO'Shay and I feel exactly the same way. I refuse to waste my time debating here or interacting very much because of the corrupt moderators and their clique on this site. But on the other hand I will be damned if I'm going to let them chase me off. So don't let them bluff you either. Especially when people like Clarise are making such laughable, irrational, and obsessed fools of themselves. I really can't remember when I have laughed so much on a single thread.

 

Clarise is a rally point for a few of them but I just laugh at most of the efforts they put forth in an attempt to make others the goat when they themselves end up looking like fools. I have been honest and forthright here about my age (hell when men lie on these boards about age it is the silverbacks trying to be young, NOT OLD). I am not the brightest bulb in the box but I am not the dullest either. They prove how ignorant they are in these attack posts. Fuck 'em all....

 

Hello Stumbly! Long time no speak.

Just for the sake of saying so (and speaking as one who is probably viewed as one of their clique) I'd like to point out that today I, and others, have had reason to criticise the moderators, and have found that our comments have been both listened to, and acted upon.

This forum remains one of the most open and entertaining of all the ones I have chanced upon on the internet, and long may it remain so.

The mods on here do, on the whole, a sterling job here, and I for one am (mostly) happy with them.
