I couldn't care less about the sock bit - it's marginally amusing. clarise has been calling me a sock for over two years. She's accused me of being oh-so-many people. But it's still a bit amusing to watch her try to make one stick.

You would think that after all this time she would've moved on to a different tactic.

 

Can I just say - in all seriousness

I have absolutely NO idea what this thread was intended to be about, or what it became, or even if those two are the same thing.

Could someone please let me know, in no more than three fairly short sentences, what the fuck is going on.

Clarise started the thread as a jab to me and rick. It's my PM, but she implied that it was ricks.

It backfired and now she is sad.

 

Is it possible to edit PMs to put in a thread so that essentially the same message is there but the words are changed slightly.

Personally, I don't think ROS is your sock. My first point to Rick was everyone has the right their opinions just as he does. The other point is that the more defensive he and you are the more people are going wonder if maybe Randy and Clarise are right.

Rick, in my opinion, is a thin skin little twit who shoots off at the mouth when anyone pulls his chain. Also, in my opinion, the more he goes off on temper tantrums like a 7 year old the more people are going to pull his chain because it's amusing. :excited:

 

I think it's blatantly obvious that Rick and Resident are two different people. I really can't understand why anyone would think otherwise.

Contrary to some of the innuendo above, I don't really try to shill the books. I make a pittance on them. So, on the one hand it is a shame that you have to buy them.

On the other hand, I must say the mainstream versions of the books are much tighter and cleaner than the rough drafts that were posted here.

Moreover, Greta's free verse poetry is retained in the second volume. Not a word of it has been cut. What has been cut out of the mainstream versions is the pornification. Romance is still central to the plots, and there is some explicit action here and there, but much, much less of it than appeared here (and this has disappointed/alienated many readers, not that I care).

My one regret about the deletions from this board is that OHT's poetry is lost. His work on that thread is beautifully crafted, and I really do want to see it come back. I am thinking about ways to bring the thread back, but as a first step, this thread would have to drop off a few pages.
