Okay guys, Shake and I need your help. Most of you know we are expecting, and we are having issues with baby names. We can't seem to agree on anything. He thinks mine are too common and I think his are just weird!

So tell us your favorite baby names! We aren't sure yet, but we think it might be a girl. So let's see if you can settle this for us.

Might I also suggest (and this could just be the "oldies" fan in me) I've always wanted to have four kids named Lennon, McCarthy, Starr, and Harrison.

But I've settled on three VERY unique names that I love (and my BF loves) and we plan to name our kids by those names (giving them normal middle names so they can go by those if they so choose). But the names I've chosen have probably never been given to any child (at least in english speaking countries) so I'm hoping my kids will never meet another person with their name. (But I won't share those names b/c I don't want anyone to get any ideas)

Pick something a little more rare like Kiera. I know too many Mikes, Jasons, Gregs, Chrises. And for gods sake DON'T name your kid Jessica! I had no LESS than 4 jessicas in EVERY class in highschool. One class there were EIGHT! Too many people without any creativity!

Alot of good suggestions, but here is my 2 cents worth:

girl: Serena Rachel (enter last name here)

boy: Jonathan (enter middle and last name here)

Jonathan is such a regal and noble sounding name....

 

John is her brother's name, that one's out. Sort of.

me and my wife-to-be have thought about this. if we ever have a boy, his name will be nikolai. if we have a girl her name will be Scarlett

I have always loved the name Hannah. And I have a thing for girl names that shorten to boy name: Charlotte, Alexandra, Samantha, Roberta ... you get the idea.

For guys: Giles, Charles and George.

I have always enjoyed scandinavian and russian names. Katya, Vicktor, Ivan, Illian, Sonya (went to school with a Sonya Svedlotchcova). OH! and a korean girl named "Gift" (it was a nickname b/c no one could pronounce her first name properly) her last name was Teichawriboonwong "Tay-eech-a-wee-boon-wong". Took me a while to get that one.
