I think Kayla is lovely! And are you still looking at boy names?

 

For whatever reason we started assuming it was a girl and so focused all of our efforts on girls names. Since we've pretty much got that covered, I told her we should start on boys' names. She's got it in her head that Braden is a good name and, as you all should have come to expect by now, I don't like the name. So that's next. We'll know what the sex is in a couple of weeks though, perhaps we should just give it a rest for now. Leave well enough along, as it were.

Lovely names, both of them, Makayla being a little more unusual. Playing with the spellings: Mykaila, Mykala, McKaila, the My beginning is more Japanese, the Mc Irish, also another M'Kaila, Don't forget a middle name to go well with it.

There is a street in Reno and a song named Mwana but think its spelled differently.

M'Kala M'wana just suggestions, you should certainly go by your own feelings, and maybe the baby's if you can do it.

 

Well on Monday I get my ultrasound and we'll know if its a boy or a girl!! I'll be sure to keep you all posted!

Be careful - ultrasounds and their techs are not always acurate. With our second child we decided to find out, we were told a boy and when she was born we sat there staring at her going what do we name it????? We had not even considered a girls name. We ended up naming her Ashley Michelle

I feel really great. I never got morning sickness or anything. Only thing that troubles me is the occassional headache or heartburn. And right now my gums hurt.

But, I've started feeling kicks and flutters! It is sooo amazing!

Actually we don't know. I am getting ready to switch doctors to one in the city who delivers at a nicer hospital instead of my little local one. And I guess my old doc got pissed that I was leaving, so he refused to see me for my last appointment with him-which was my ultrasound appointment.

He not only called and woke me up on my day off, but made me cry...a sure way to piss Leila off!

Long story short, my new doc is going to do it, hopefully on Saturday. So we'll keep you posted. Thanks for thinking of us RP. :rose:

 

Oh, and I'm feeling good, just tired. But that's mostly my fault. I can't seem to say no, and have ended up working almost every day this month. I think I've had 3 days off in the past month.

Day late and all but...

I have a cousin named Kyla. I've always thought her name was pretty.

My daughter's name is Breanna Rae, so I'm partial to that one too, but noticed we changed the spelling. Her friends shorten it to Bre (like Bree). My youngest daughter's name is one of those common ones, Amanda Renae.

Congrats to both of you. (I still like Breanna, sorry Shaka...)
