Being a moderate myself, but believing more in humanity than foaming-at-the-mouth greed, I lean more toward Democratic policies (though not action, because that is routinely senseless) but BOTH sides lie constantly with not only no regard for the truth, but seemingly a lack of understanding what truth even is.

I agree with that. The country is more divided now between left and right than I have ever seen in my life time.

I appreciate that, CS. Our politics are different, but the only way to achieve ANYTHING is through legitimate efforts to compromise. Polarization, back-biting and misdirection solves nothing and only provide a show that stirs up 'fans' rather than getting the country moving again.

Are people so damn dumb they think their chosen party does not lie and the other party does. I wish we did not have voters who were so ignorant.
When people accept that politicians lie, no matter what party, we may see some difference. As long as we have people who have two sets of rules we will just gather a little more speed toward that long drop and sudden stop.
I can't understand how a person can see every lie the opposing party tells people but fail to see a single one from their party.
That is the problem in the U.S. We either had ignorant voters or low life voters.

To be honest it started under Bush but under Obama it reached a whole new level. One thing you can truly thank both of them for is they woke both sides up to this shit.
