Actually, according to the CDC from the time period of 2006-2008 it was in the mid-30s for women who occasionally or frequently (but otherwise regularly as in it was a "normal" sexual habit for them) participated in anal sex.



Natural is based on one's own biases. As for stretched out I've been having fairly regular anal sex for about 14 years (anywhere from 2-10 times per month depending on partner, situation, etc) and I'd argue I'm tighter AND healthier back there now because of it. You only get "loose" if you do things like extreme stretching (fisting, huge plugs) or play really rough which leads to damage. A more sensual, gentle and even vigorous w/o being rough anal sex isn't going to make you lose tone. As with everything else though moderation is key and taking care of yourself back there is equally important.

Unfortunately there are still a lot of social taboos around it, a lot of misunderstandings about how things work and a lot of "moral" / religious pressure about not doing it which leads to some pretty sensationalist claims. But at the end of the day, some women just aren't going to be into it or willing to do it. Part of it will be upbringing and religious convictions, others will look at is as degrading (which sadly porn has done a great job of portraying it as such) and others will have a legitimate physiological barrier that prevents them from doing it. Remember, most of us but especially girls, are taught that we're very dirty back there. That concept sticks and is very hard to break if it's continuously reinforced as you grow up. The reality is, some women will just never even try and there's another large segment of women who tried it with an uneducated oaf that made it hurt and/or made it a very unpleasant experience for them.

I have no idea as to the stats, but if I were a betting man I would say it has increased. I looked but couldn't find anything definitive. I know that it's popular in Hispanic / Catholic countries (like Brazil) for reasons of "technical virginity" and birth control but that's more antecedal than absolute fact. I know that it's a lot more accepted and open in Europe but they also sell better lube with a mild numbing agent over there as well. Again I know first hand that eastern europe is much more open to it and it's "standard" but same with France and Germany as well. But I have nothing factual.
