But I said I'd indulge you. So I'll say the same thing to you that I said to Gemmaswinger: Thatcher's maxim about negotiating with terrorists is a guiding principle. Sure. Reagan negotiated early in his presidency to free hostages. But he didn't kiss ass. He went to them and told them that they could either hand our guys back alive or be turned to glass.

Want some ancient history? Mitt Romney has admonished the White House several times over the past few years that negotiation is the art of letting people do what you want. And if that is what Obama and his minions did when they walked into a room, people wouldn't have such a big problem with all the wheeling and dealing. But every time that fool walks into a room, he gives away the store.

First of all President Reagan didn't just negotiate with terrorists. President Reagan funded terrorists in direct violation of the Boland Amendment. And then he turned right around and negotiated with Iran and got ripped off time after time until his administration had sold more than 1,500 TOW missiles and much worse anti aircraft missiles that could be used against us.

The Palestinian Accountability Act, which Obama waived with a flourish of the pen, was one in a series of attempts to stem the flow of taxpayer money to the terrorist corruptocracy in Ramallah. The Act mandated that no funds may be made available to the Palestinian Authority until it ends its terrorist activities and an independent audit is conducted of its finances. Rather than complying with the bill, Obama dismissed it by resorting to the transparently fraudulent claim of national security.
