  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

    How do you remember it?

What I remember is that as a whole our society became too permissive, at one time non-conformity was rarely tolerated by authority, now it is the norm. Not that this was a bad thing, but there are consequences to such changes.

So, which God did all those prayers go to? Did God really care to hear the pledge? Most kids age seven has no clue what the words they learned by rote actually meant.

There is no direct cause and effect to stopping those things and the rise of school shootings.

    Did I mention prayer??

What I posted concerned a general reduction in the sense of responsibility for ones actions, brought about by permissiveness.

Guess you haven't been following along all that closely... The person I responded to before you piled on, did mention prayer.

The problems in our schools started when parents decided the teachers (babysetters) could not discipline their kids. They could not even tell them no.
The kids noticed no one was in charge of the classroom and took advantage of the opening.
Now those same parents or the kids of the original parents are yelling about problems in school.
No one will put the blame where it should be. The parents are at fault. They got what they wanted but it wasn't quite like their dreams.

Why are we arguing about who quoted who? It is irrelevant. My point was that pray was already a part of the discussion before you jumped in.

Hmmm, you seem to be shorted out somewhere.

If you want to question what someone posts in here, the accepted procedure is to quote them and ask them to answer a question about their post.

Since you quoted a post of mine and asked a question which was totally irrelevant to that post, what am I to think? You fucked up and quoted either the wrong post or you did not read the post you quoted.

The ball is your court try to actually answer my question, WTF did you quote me instead of PP?

Twist in the wind for all I care. There is nothing I can say that will satisfy you. Your demands that explain myself are meaningless. Go bark up another tree while you shout how you've won something of worth.

I agree with Shooter; too much of this nonsense, and it is not confined to the United States.

We have a case here where a High School Student's family are taking the School to Court because he was suspended because his hair is to long. The School's Rules say hair must be off the collar. The Youth - and his Parents - knew that when he enrolled.

I've talked about my Jr. High math teacher a few times. He was a WWII vet, and survived the Bataan death march. One day a year he'd suspend class and just talk about the war, his experience, and encourage questions. He didn't preach; he'd tell about some aspect of his experience, and we'd talk about it.

Meant more to me than all the Social Studies and civics classes I suffered through.

Talk to a war vet; someone who has been there, done that.

Ask them about our government, our schools, our society, and what they fought for.

    Best education you can get.

Look, respectable and inimitable mod-lady, you are not going to lead me on a merry chase hither and yon to show me some crap you've dredged up from the lower colon of Wikipedia.

The last time you did that, you tried to convince me that the Cubans know what penicillin is. And I'm not falling for it again. It's not to be borne, and I won't have it.

    Where was I?

    Oh, yes. Moslems.

In my house I have a library. In this library I possess things called books, and I have read most of them. (Thousands of books, in fact. So many books that the shelves are fifteen feet high and are equipped with a rolling ladder. In a word, my library is posh. But I digress.) And in my library, I have a seminal set of eleven volumes, authored by the eminent historians Will and Ariel Durant (their lifes' work, in fact). These eleven volumes take up an entire shelf in my library, being roughly the length and breadth of the Brittanica Encyclopedia.

I have read this set of eleven volumes, collectively entitled, The Story of Civilization.

And in the fourth volume, called The Age of Faith, in which is recounted among other things the intrigues of the Medici era popes, the heydey of Bruge, the merry Crusades, the exploits of Saladin in Antioch, and various and sundry atrocities committed on both sides of their many and merry wars, the adherents to the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed, Peace and Blessings Upon Him, are referred to with a word.

And that word is spelled, M-O-S-L-E-M.

    Sheesh.

You, and all the others who are bristling at the term, Ebonics, no doubt count it as further proof of my racism. You probably think I got it from some redneck teabagger website.

    Well, wrong.

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Know where Ebonics (i.e., ebony phonetics (i.e., phonetics for black people (i.e., phonetics for monkeys who are incapable of correct spelling and pronunciation, no matter how hard they apply themselves)))?

I'll tell you where I got it. Even though you won't believe it. Even though you'll accuse me of lying. Even though you'll insist that I quote shit to prove it or GTFO.

I got Ebonics from (drum roll)......

None other than Bararck Obama's, half-assed failed-up effeminate sissy protege, Massachusetts Governor Deval "Mini-Me" Patrick.

    Yes.

    That's right.

In a speech early in Deval Patrick's first term, he coined the term "Ebonics" while proposing that Massachusetts school curricula allow the cognitively deficient (i.e., monkeys) to use creative spelling.

    To level the playing field.

    And make things fair.

    Because spelling is hard.

    And things should be easy.

    And fair.

    With no effort.

And it's not fair, that English is such a hard language for people who come from the cradle of civilization, where they did nothing but fuck and gut each other for two hundred fifty thousand years and had so much fun killing and fucking that they never got around to learning stuff like alphabets and formal language.

So that's what Muslim is. That is where it comes from. It is easy to spell, because it is spelled the same way it is pronounced. By idiots. Who think spelling is hard.

By the way, Governor Mini-Me Patrick is famous for his effeminate sissy lisp. So he spells Moslem somewhat differently.

    Musthlihm.

    End of rant.

    Sheesh.
