Racism will be and remain to be a problem as long as people remain under the thumb of monotheistic ideologies. It's a short step from thinking your superior because of your belief system, to thinking your superior because of some other insignificant difference.

 

But, see, the old people aren't the problem. They keep their opinions to themselves for the most part and really don't have much to say about anything of import. If they do stick their heads up and spout some nonsense, they get promptly whacked by the pseudo equality crowd.

The reality is, we got a whole new generation of racists being taught that your blacks, your mexicans, your orientals are "different" than us white folks, and we need to be sensitive to those differences. You know, "respect" those "differences" and make allowance for them. Look for differences and point them out. Nope, racism is alive and well in the world, just much more subtle for the most part. But, racism none the less.

I try to tell the truth as much as possible. I don't make excuses for myself or others.
If a person is a low life it doesn't matter what color low life he is, he is still a low life.

Making excuses for someone has never made any difference in that person. It only encourages that person to do more of the same as they know they can get away with it.
I don't care what color a person is, what sex a person is, how large or small a person is, or even what religion a person is.

Oprah fails to recognise that not all racists are old. And that racism isn't a unique problem between blacks and whites in America. It's worldwide. And people are dying in their thousands because of it.

Waiting for racists to die out is not a solution. It will fail. Defeating racism requires education.

Besides, by now there are literally hundreds of reasons not to like Obama, none of which have anything to do with the colour of his skin.

You can not educate masses of people by forcing them to comply with beliefs that run diametrically against what they we taught from the womb and lived with it as the standard for most of their lives. Those people will not be influenced by education the way their children and grandchildren can be.

Therefore, because you can not eliminate racism in older people, we must wait until they die. In the meantime we educate those who are receptive.

The bit about Obama detractors being racist is a cop out of the highest order, they are detractors mainly because he isn't doing the job he was hired to do.

 

What happens when you educate people and they find out there is a difference in races? Studies have proven it but the results are still in court and will not be released.
What she really means is if we force people to comply with her beliefs long enough they will finally give up and accept them. It is working.

Just good common sense should tell you there would be differences. People have been forced not to say the truth for long enough that many are believing it.

There is no evidence that there are differences, other than appearance and physical attributed. There are countless examples of great intellectual minds across the races.

 

Yes there is evidence of differences other than the ones you choose to believe. Like I said they were released for a very short time but then the court battles started.
You just didn't see the evidence and the results. Others did. Now it isn't legal to do such studies. Again court battles stoped these studies.

Racial differences came about through several factors, involving: geography, climate, diet, natural selection and lastly isolation. Humans were basically isolated into groups starting first in Sub-Saharan Africa, then Southern Europe, Northern Europe, Asia and lastly North and South America. The land masses looked quite different 100,000 to 180,000 years ago, land bridges existed between continents so migration was relatively easy, climates were different also.

Dark skins meant that those bearing them would survive better in the climate and environment that they were in, just as lighter skin suited or geography and climates. Natural selection followed, in Africa people born of light skin did not survive as well, thus the darker skinned reproduced and built numbers. In Europe the opposite happened, lighter skins proved better for the climate, etc.

Before the 1400's people were isolated by land mass, the land bridges had disappeared thousand of years earlier, to survive people got their sustenance from nature, the plants that grew dictated the animals that thrived, those animal dictated the predators that fed on them, everything was part of the early mans diet, adding to the differences in the people, colder climates had less exposure to sun, people had to cover themselves to stay warm half of the year, skin tones changed.

Today, we have a more homogenous world population, intermixing the races has begun to erase the physical characteristics, soon we will all be the same color. This is when the selective breeding enters into the equation.
